2.1 Internet Accounts
The different type of Internet accounts offered by BSNL is 'iven below:
Leased line
access
(n)oy round the clock internet connectivity at speeds varyin' from *+
,bps to +- $bps. various plans are available to suit different needs.
ISDN dial backup packa'es for Internet Leased Line %ustomers are
also available.

Direct Internet
Access (DIAS)
BSNL also provides DIAS in selected cities of the %ountry. The DIAS
offers a wire/line solution for hi'h speed symmetrical Internet access
on the e0istin' telephone lines. It provides an 1always on1 internet
access that is permanently available at customer2s premises. DIAS
combines voice and internet data packets on a sin'le twisted pair wire
at subscriber premises that means you can use telephone and surf
internet at the same time.

access based on
CLI
Duration based Dialup Internet Service(CLI based) is a uni3ue
method providin' Internet service in which the %ustomer can access
the Internet service from any telephone throu'h dial up. The service
allows automatic re'istration on first L4#IN. The authentication will
be based on %LI of the telephone with the password supplied by the
caller. The char'in' is totally usa'e based and the service is a post paid
service like normal !STN. The billin' will be separatin' based on the
duration of use and will be char'ed to telephone bill 5%LI based6 as
Internet access char'e at the prescribed rate. The service is available in
selected cities. The access no. of this service is '17' in all cities.
%LI based dial up internet service is also available for ISDN customers
now. The access no. of this service is '17!'

Broadband service is based on DSL technolo'y 5on the same copper
cable that is used for connectin' telephone6. This provides hi'h speed
internet connectivity upto 7$bps. This is always / on internet access
service with speed ran'in' from 8-*,bps to 7 $bps.

2.2 Tariff for various Internet accounts
The tariff for various Internet accounts offered by BSNL is 'iven below:
2.2.1 Tariff for Direct Internet Access Services (DIAS)
DIAS is presently available in +8 cities across India.

The DIAS services shall be offered to the !STN subscribers of BSNL& on the
same copper pair as is bein' used for their D(Ls at present.
In case of disconnection of BSNL !STN connection this DIAS connection is also
to be surrendered. In case of disconnection of telephone for non/payment etc.&
DIAS facility should also be disconnected.
This tariff includes internet usa'e char'es. The subscriber need not pay any
additional amount for

This tariff is for connection of subscribers to Internet nodes of BSNL.
;herever it is not technically feasible to measure the usa'e& the present tariff will
remain applicable. :owever& whenever it will be technically possible to apply
usa'es based tariff& subscribers of DIAS should be intimated well in time by
'ivin' time period of one month for switchover from e0istin' tariff to the tariff
based on usa'e as above.
This tariff will be reviewed after si0 months.

+. :ome plan can be taken on Bfones in name of #overnmentEcompany but actually workin'
at residences of their employees. An undertakin' shall have to be 'iven by the customer in
