So youre aiming a good score on GRE to target top universities and you need a GRE Study
Timeline to get you that target score . You need to organize yourself very well. Ive designed this
GRE Study Timeline (with Updated Materials) to get you that 320+ score. Follow the schedule,
and you should be good

Essential Materials:
ETS Official GRE Guide 2nd Edition
Manhattan 8 New GRE Strategy Guides (At least buy one (Preferably RC Guide) to
access their 6 online tests)
Nova Math Bible
Powerscore GMAT Critical Reasoning Bible
ETS Powerprep Software
Manhattan 5 lb. Book of GRE Practice Problems (1800+ Practice Problems)
Barrons 333 High Frequency words
Magoosh GRE Flashcards (It has total 20 decks of 50 words each.)
Princeton 1014 Practice Questions
Access to Kaplan 5 MSTs
A Notebook (Hard copy)
Optional Materials:
Magoosh GRE Prep (Strongly Recommended)
Manhattan 500 Essential Words
Manhattan 500 Advanced Words
GRE Study Timeline:
-> Daily Schedule: First 20 days
-> Verbal
50 words/1 deck per day from Magoosh GRE Flashcards.
Also write down each and every word in your Notebook along with its usage and 2-3
synonyms.
Learn RC Strategies from Manhattan RC Guide
Practice 2 RCs per day from Codecoax.com
-> Quantitative
Start with the Manhattan Quantitative Series of Books. Complete 4 of them in 20 days.
-> Daily Schedule: Next 1 month
Note: At the end of 20 days, you will be done with 1000 words from Magoosh GRE Flashcards.
->Verbal
Go with Manhattan SE TC Guide and attempt all the SE TC Questions
Next, go with SE TC Drills from Princeton 1014 Practice Questions
For CR, Practice all the CR Drills from PowerScore GMAT CR Bible
Go through Barrons 333 High Frequency words
Optional: Go through Manhattan 500 Essential Words.
-> Quantitative
Finish the rest of the 2 books in Manhattan Quatitative Series.
Next, go with ETS Official Guide and solve all the Quantitative sums
After finishing ETS OG, Do sums from Manhattan 5 lb. book of GRE Practice Problems
Optional: Solve Magoosh Quants Practice Problems

-> Daily Schedule: Next 25 Days
->Verbal
For RC, Practice all the RC Drills from Manhattan RC and Princeton 1014 Practice
Questions.
Optional: Go through Manhattan 500 Advanced Words
->Quantitative
Finish the Manhattan 5 lb. book of GRE Practice Problems in 10 days.
Start with Nova Math Bible and Finish it in 15 days.
Optional: Solve Magoosh Practice Problems

->GRE AWA: (1 hour daily)
How to prepare for GRE AWA Section
-> Daily Schedule: Next 16 days (Take Mock Exams)
Take mock exams and analyze your mistakes and work on them!

1st Day: Kaplan 1st MST / Magoosh Practice Test
2nd Day: Kaplan 2nd MST / Magoosh Practice Test
3rd Day: Kaplan 3rd MST / Magoosh Practice Test
4th Day: Kaplan 4th MST / Magoosh Practice Test
5th Day: Kaplan 5th MST / Magoosh Practice Test
6th Day: ETS Official Guide 1st Practice Test
7th Day: ETS Official Guide 2nd Practice Test
8th Day: Manhattan 1st MST
9th Day: Manhattan 2nd MST
10th Day: Manhattan 3rd MST

16th Day: Revise words, Math formulas for 2-3 hours. Watch your favorite movie to
relax and sleep well.

You can change this GRE Study Timeline as per your convenience considering you have more
months to prepare. I have considered that you work 3-4 hours/day on weekdays and 5-6
hours/day on weekends.
