ASSET- A DIAGNOSTIC SKILL BASED ASSESSMENT

Dear Parents,

We are glad to inform you that our school has decided to partner with Educational Initiatives (EI) to
conduct school improvement programme through ASSET (Assessment of Scholastic Skills through
Educational Testing) developed by the team of IIM-A Alumni. We are preparing our children for tomorrow
and hence it is important for us to understand how well students are learning with the help of experts in
this field. For the past 13 years, ASSET has been doing benchmarking, assessing higher order thinking,
and providing results in an actionable form to teachers so that ongoing learning improvement can take
place. So far:
Over 1000 schools in India, Nepal, Bangladesh, the Middle East & Singapore have incorporated
ASSET as part of their curriculum
Learning levels of more than 1 Million students have been assessed


Benefits of taking ASSET Test
1. Tests conceptual understanding of students and hence no preparation is required
2. Students receive diagnostic analysis of their performance highlighting the students strengths and
weaknesses.
3. Practice questions are also provided along with the explanations and answers for the concepts that
the student is weak in.
4. The National benchmarking helps the child and parents to judge and prepare the child for the
competitive entrance tests in the future.

graders performing exceptionally well in the ASSET test are invited
to participate in the Duke Talent Identification Program and the participants receive numerous

The Asset Test for the children of Classes III, IV, V has been made mandatory. Each child will have to
take a test in English,Mathematics and Science on the 7
th
of August. The all inclusive fee for the test
will be Rs 450/-
Kindly send the exact amount in a sealed envelope with your childs name, class and section written
on it by the 25.04.14
