Creating Jobs in New Haven
The New Haven Works program is a culmination of
efforts by the City of New Haven, Yale University, local
employers, labor unions and local residents to create a
pipeline of jobs for citizens of New Haven. In its rst
year, New Haven Works placed 323 residents in local jobs,
including 125 at Yale University.
Governor Dannell Malloy spoke at the one year anniversary of New Haven Works on June
