I feel that as an instructor, it is my responsibility to determine exactly
what I expect students to understand after completing my course,
then to facilitate student learning so that every student reaches this
level. At the end of each class that I teach, I would like to have my
students remember the following about me as an instructor:
He cared about me as a person and valued my contributions to
class discussions.
He created an environment in the classroom which inspired
learning and encouraged individual responsibility for education.
