Mast Raising
Check fuel tank level. Should be enough level to run the engines.
Make sure three (03) Generators on line.
Check DWKS clutch function and air pressure. Air pressure should be
above 100 Psi.
Check DWKS Brake hydraulic power unit (HPU) for proper functioning
and oil level.
Deactivate drawworks anti-collision system (Crown saver/ Twin stop)
Check drawworks cooling system. Water should be circulating in the
system.
Make sure Auxiliary Brake linkage in engaged with DWKS.
Check sheaves lubrication (A-FRAME; MAST; CROWN BLOCK;
DRAWWORKSS FRAME).
Check that the Raising Lines are correctly positioned in the sheaves
and that the sheaves guard is properly inserted.
Check anchor of raising lines into masts pad-eyes (the coupling
between the end of line, pad eye and pin shall be slipping).
Check that the raising lines are properly anchored at Travelling Block
raising ree.
Check Drill Line, Fast Line and Dead Line (Travelling Block; Crown
Block; Guide roller for wire rope) for interferences and obstacles.
Check dead line clamping to Dead Line Anchor after reeving of Drill line
in Drawworks main drum.

A team of two persons A/D & Derrick man on behalf of Rig Mgr/ Tool
Pusher shall check all parts of mast, monkey board, casing stabbing
board, belly board, crown block, stairs, resting platforms ,tong
counterweights and all completions, for :
All shafts are inserted and properly locked by safety pins.
Masts ladder fastening is completed.
No bolts or nuts loosened
Remove every possible falling-object.
Make sure monkey board platform is folded & secured
Check Masts both side cylinder jacks function.
Check Dead Line anchors load cell connection.
Check light-system (Mast and Crown Block).
Check the presence in the yard of all Setback completion equipment
(guard, handrails, stairs, V-door, Stand pipe support, etc) useful to be
install for secure the frame after the raising.
Raise the Mast of about 20 cm from the stand, to check the Brake of
Drawworks, dead line.
Verify the correct calibration of the weight indicator.
On high Hose support, Maximum weight of Mast at the starting point of
raising should be around 330 Klbs.

Drawworks Raising

Afterwards Mast raising and after Setback is secured, perform following
checks before Raising DWKS.

Check Raising lines new path (raising lines shall be properly anchored
into sheaves and the sheaves guard shall be in correct position).
Check that all shafts and all safety pins are in proper position, to be
connected after
Remove the water line, connected on Elamagco side, to avoid
damaging with the tension of DWKS raising line.
Drawworks raising.
Check that Grasshopper is properly fixed and free from obstacles. All
cables are free of tension.
Make sure that spreader beam installed in between grasshopper and
substructure base. If not installed, grass hooped will move while raising
DWKS.
Check that there arent any electrical cables or pipes in the way.
At the time of raising, Maximum weight of DWKS should be around
130 Klbs.
