Introduction

Success is a complicated subject and difficult to obtain because of the habits we have.
Here is a small book with three different sections dealing with habits that we have.

The first section deals with breaking the habit of fear. The fear that is internal about the
future. This is not about fear when we are in eminent danger. This about the fear we
produce in our minds about some event that hasnt happen.

Work through your fear with the help of this guide and start on your path to success.

The second part is creating a personal mission statement for you , your business and your
family. This will give you clarity and direction. When you memorize it and repeat it
daily you will have focus. Dont skip over this lightly meditate on it daily just as you
would meditate on the Word of God. When done right the mission statement comes
from God. He will equip you to keep focus and have success in your mission.

Now that you have a mission, how do you know that you successful. This is the third
part. Success comes with a change of mind and a change of heart. The mind is changed
through meditating on the Word of God and the heart is also changed.

Sometimes the word prayer is used wrongly. Prayer is just communicating with God
talking and listening. Just like you talk to a close friend, you the good of what happened
and the not so good. You listen when your friend talks. The only difference is this
friend is Jesus and God who knows all things and what is best for you.

So when you hear listen and do. That will lead to success. You may have to walk
through a valley but you will stand on the mountain top eventually.

Fear is Normal, Let it Happen & Learn from It

Fear can be a debilitating thing. It can completely ruin your day, a special
moment; and even your life! But, lets define fear first before we talk more about
its effects. It will be easier to overcome something if we first, know exactly what
it is. Websters dictionary says fear is:

A feeling of agitation and anxiety caused by the presence or
imminence of danger, a state or condition marked by this feeling, a
feeling of disquiet or apprehension, extreme reverence or awe as
toward a supreme power, a reason for dread or apprehension.

Fear as you can see can be from outside you or something that comes from
inside you. It is an emotion that exhibits strong feelings no matter the source.
While some fears are valid and can preserve your life, others are very destructive
in their nature and need to be dealt with.

Freedom from fear of any kind can lead you to true success in your personal life
and business life. You can take the fears that you have and turn them around
and use them in a more constructive way to lead you down a better path in life.

But, what about failure? Some people have a fear of failing. It is important to note
that there is nothing wrong with failing. You can learn a lot from failing at
something. We will all fail at some point or another in our lives at something.
What is important is how you approach the failure. A lot of great things have
come out of life because of a failure. Failure, when see with the right
perspective can help push you forward in ways you could not imagine.

However, when you tie fear into the concept of failure and allow it to take over
and keep you from seeing the benefits of the failure you may repeat that failure
over and over and never learn what the failure could have taught you.

In this report we will look at 3 strategies for overcoming fear, how to overcome
the obstacles to your success and how to actually transform your fear into
success.













STRATEGY 1: Rise Above Obstacles

You will have to overcome many things to conquer your fears. Some of the
obstacles may be internal things you created in your life that are self sabotaging.
With some consistency and determination you can overcome them and move
forward.

Keys to handling obstacles to your success:

1. Understand your goals & get Gods plan.

Know exactly what it is you're trying to do. Seek God for a plan. At this
point in your life anything you try to do outside of Him wont work
anyway. What goal are you trying to reach personally? Take time to
put what He says on paper if you need to along with what steps you
will take to reach that particular goal. This goal is just a roadmap for
you to follow. A guide.

Be prepared for the unexpected to take place in your plan. Rarely do
things go just as we plan them. Be open to adjustments and changes
that you will need to make.

Identify the parts of your plan that may become problematic and lay out
alternatives.

2. Trust yourself & trust God.

God has given you the plan. He will also give you the wisdom and
knowledge to carry it out. Set your mind to the fact that you have heard
what he said and that you will achieve that. No matter what it costs.

Trust God. Trust in His process for your life and that He knows best.
Trust Him completely to change you and make the goals happen. This
process will be one of faith and that you can follow your instincts if they
are in God. Trust that the Holy Spirit is telling you what to do.

3. Seek out help, if need be.

If there's something in your way that you feel you cannot move or
handle on yoru own seek out good help. You can't do everything by
yourself. You are not an island and rarely do we get out of trouble
or hard places on our own. We have to learn to depend on others
at times.

Trust that God will send you the right help at the right time as well.
He see you and sees exactly what you need and He cares enough
to help.

Friends, family and co-workers can also be a good resource for
help. However, be careful which family members you go to and
how much you share. It could open doors that you are not ready to
go thru.

4. Gain a fresh perspective.

Stepping back from your situation and trying to get a different
perspective is a great way to look at your obstacle with a clarity
you might not have seen before.

Try to ask impartial people what they see and how they view your
circumstance is a great way to go about this.

Change your routine. Take a break and walk away from your
problem for a while, if you can. Come back to the problem after a
little while and see if you missed anything.


5. Never ever give up.

Vince Lombardi said it best: "Winners never quit and quitters never
win!" This is as true as it gets.

Keep at the problem until it is resolved. Consistency is the key.
Find a way to keep going.


Start again if need be. Sometimes despite all your efforts at a
solution you may need to rebuild that area of your life. It may be
that a fundamental belief you have is wrong and that belief is
effecting everything else in your life.

STRATEGY 2: Conquer Your Fears

Overcoming your fears can prove to be one of the hardest things in your life you
will ever do. But, you CAN DO IT!!!!! Lets look some strategies here and get
some understanding to overcome this area.

Keys to overcoming your fears:

1. What is your fear?

You must identify your fear. Give it a name. If you can identify it,
you can conquer it. You cannot conquer something you dont
recognize.

Is this fear you have rational or irrational? Can this fear hurt you? If
you fear something but it cant harm you then it is irrational. It has
no power and you need not fear it.

If the fear can hurt you, then there may be some validation to it.
You can work with this fear and devise a plan on how to deal with it
that will bring you some comfort and clarity.

2. Confront your fear!

Face your fear. Find out what the Word of God has to say about
this area you fear and what God says is a solution. Talk about this
fear to others. Dont keep it hidden from others. See what you can
do to confront the fear head on. Denial is a great enemy to
overcoming fear.

You dont have to face it all alone. Reach out to your loved ones for
support. Theyll be happy to help you overcome something thats
preventing you from having a better life.

Find a safe way to confront the fear. Talk to a trusted person and
start with a scaled down version of your fear and face it.

3. Make up your mind.

Mind over matter is a great tool. Sometimes just making up your mind
to change works. Simply making a decision to change starts you on the
road to success. The fear was born in your mind and grew in your mind
because that is where you fed it. So changing your thinking will help.

Believe the truth. If your fear is an irrational one and you believe it to
be true then the power of TRUTH will counter that. Many fears we
have are those weve created for ourselves. The moment something
causes you to become fearful, stop that thought in its tracks and go the
Word of God and replace it with the TRUTH of His Word.



4. Knowledge is the best weapon.

Research this fear. Find out what is all about and learn about it and
how to conquer it. Sometimes just getting the facts about
something will totally release it from your life. You may find out that
something is totally not true that you have believed is all this time.

Some fears are normal. Like being afraid of fire, this type of fear is a normal,
perfectly rational fear and is something you may not need to fix. Fears can be
helpful in many circumstances. However, if a fear is controlling your life, you
need to face it head on and conquer it.

STRATEGY 3: Transform Fear into Success

As you allow God to help you overcome your fears to success never forget that
God has not given you the spirit of fear. You have the spirit of love, power, and a
sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). You can be transformed on the inside by the Word
of God and some simple things on the outside to help as well. It will be the Word
of God that will transform your fears and move you to success. Nothing else!

Keys to transforming fear into success:

1. Meditate in the Word of God.

Have a plan each day to read the Word of God and meditate it over
and over in your mind and spirit. The Word is full of truth that will
set you free.

Read scriptures that remind you of Gods constant presence in your
life and how he protects you. Scriptures like Hebrews 13:5, Psalm
34:4, 2 Timothy 1:7,

2. Listen to the Word of God Every Day.

Find some encouraging Word that you can listen to everyday that
will uplift you and change your perspective. There are many
avenues for this. TV, Internet, social media of all kinds, books on
tape, cds and more.

3. Exercise.

Physical activity boosts the immune system and strengthens the
mind and body. When you exercise, your body releases endorphins
that help promote a healthy mind and body. In the least, exercise
can take your mind off your worries.

4. Set Goals.

Take some time out of your day to set some specific, short term,
and simple goals to complete tasks. The more you accomplish the
more self-confidence you'll build. Self-confidence is a powerful tool
for removing fear.

5. Talk About It.

Fears can multiply when you bottle them up inside you. When you
let fear build, it snowballs and gets bigger and bigger until it
becomes terrifying to you. This is a trick of the enemy to keep you
isolated with your fear. Talking about it helps relieve the pressure
and gives you the opportunity to obtain honest feedback.
Let Go of Worry
Therefore I tell you, stop being perpetually uneasy (anxious and
worried) about your life, what you shall eat or what you shall drink;
or about your body, what you shall put on. Is not life greater [in
quality] than food, and the body [far above and more excellent] than
clothing?
Look at the birds of the air; they neither sow nor reap nor gather
into barns, and yet your heavenly Father keeps feeding them. Are
you not worth much more than they?
And who of you by worrying and being anxious can add one unit of
measure (cubit) to his stature or to the span of his life?

Worry is a habit. Yes a habit. It is a useless emotion and doesn't help you move
beyond any fears that you have. Here is why you need to let go it, cast it off and
get rid of it.
Worry always falls into one of two categories:

1. Things you can't control.

If you have no control over the outcome of a situation, why worry about it?
You can't change or control other people, what will happen or will
something happen or not.

Worrying won't make a difference at all in the situation. It will only add to
your fears and prevent you from taking care of the things you can control.

2. Things you can control.

If you can control the situation you are concerned about, then it's simple:
take action! If you're doing everything you can, then you no longer have
any need to worry.

Being successful isn't easy and it involves a lot of hard work, dedication and
sometimes sacrifices. With the above keys, a positive attitude, a good plan, and
positive people around you to help, you can accomplish anything you set your
mind to.

In the end, facing your fears head on will give you more self-confidence,
provide valuable experience, and make you stronger. You don't have to be a
slave to your fears. You can face your fears valiantly and triumphantly!
