Robert Plant has said that he feels "disappointed and baffled" by Jimmy Page and the ongoing saga of a potential Led Zeppelin rumour.
Frontman Plant has repeatedly stated that he does not wish to reform the band, whose last performance was a one-off tribute to
Atlantic Records' Ahmet Ertegun at London's O2 Arena in 2007.
However, guitarist Page has dropped repeated hints about wanting to play with the band again and said that he is 'fed up' with
his bandmate for delaying his plans.
Speaking in a new interview with Uncut, Plant expresses his confusion at Page's actions and says: "I feel for the guy. He
knows he's got the headlines if he wants them. But I don't know what he's trying to do. So I feel slightly disappointed and
baffled."
In fact, Plant says that he was interested in working with Page again but in an unplugged capacity. "A couple of years ago I
said, 'If you've got anything acoustic, let me know. I'll give it a whirl. It was hands across the water."
"He just walked away. But we couldn't do anything proper. The weight of expectation is too great."

I wish everyone including Jimmy Page would leave ROBERT PLANT alone! As a
long long time fan ZEP is the past, Robert is happy, full of energy, the top of his
game. Let the man live in peace. Allow him to play and write what he wants! He
pulls in the crowds that speaks for itself!!!!!

He is too busy issuing remasters of remasters of albums he has no interest in
revisiting. Cash comes in handy though...
