Definition
A job is an activity
through which an
individual can earn
money. It is a regular
activity in exchange
of payment.

A job is work for
which you receive
pay. Individuals tend
to talk about their
work as just a job
when it doesnt give
them much long-
term career
satisfaction.
An occupation is
generally thought of as a
series of related jobs. A high
school English teachers
occupation is education and
her job is teaching. She could
also become a high school
counselor or principal where
her occupation is still
education. A mechanic may
go from working on car
engines to diesel trucks and
her occupation will continue
to be as a mechanic.
An occupation is a wide
category of jobs with similar
characteristics.An occupation
is a broad title for what
someone does on a continual
basis
A career is the pursuit of
a lifelong ambition or the
general course of progression
towards lifelong goals. A
career can be thought of as
the accumulation of all of the
jobs in one or more
occupations that have made
up an individuals work life.
Your career is comprised of
the actions you typically take
within a certain occupation.
Often pictures as a staircase or
ladder.
A career is a lifetime
journey of building and
making good use of your skills,
knowledge and experiences.

training may or may
not be required.
May require new learning
or training as new jobs are
accepted.
Usually requires special
training or higher levels of
education where the
individual is expected to
increase their expertise to
match higher levels of
responsibility.

Dear Sir Sigmund,

I am an avid van of your works. You are pioneer in the field of social psychology,
whether any individual believe in your theories or not, most people would agree that you are
one of the greatest thinkers of modern time. Your development of psychoanalysis and the
contributions that you made to the study mental illness is immense. Although, you completed
most of his work in the early years of last century, you are still hugely influential to this day
Despite your success, your ideas have always been very controversial. Your postulations
on human psychological growth resulted in his theory of psychosexual development. Your ideas
were particularly contentious at the initial time of release, and frequently are considered so, to
this very day. The primary reason for any initial negative reaction was due to the often-strong
sexual content of your work. You suggested that powerful incestuous sexual desires exist in all
of us, including infants, which I do not agree.
The focus of this letter is to thank you for your tremendous contribution in the field of
science. People have argued that your work was very much appropriated on your era in which
society is different from now but for me it is timely appropriate to make us of your works.
I like your defense mechanism formulation. Unlike other reaction mechanism patterns,
which are consciously driven processes, your defense mechanisms are supposed to be
unconsciously driven. So, the moment I accept that these are unconsciously driven I know that I
am using them and i am not aware of it. This means that once I am in a troublesome condition
and anticipate that damage can be done to my ego, I , in an anticipatory move, plan one of
these mechanisms and apply it, without being consciously aware that I are trying to defend
myself., which in every man ego is essential.
Again, Thank you very much for the contribution that you have gave us. May you
continue to inspire us to become one of your successors.
