Leaders in our Cameroon Churches
Reaching Out . . .

Reception in U.S. Embassy Yaounde in Yaounde, Cameroon
Hilda Bih is pictured above. These are Cameroons
Finest. This is the first class of Young African Leaders
Initiative (YALI) Fellows. The U.S. Department of State
selected Hilda from 2,000 applicants. She spent 6
weeks at 11 universities across the U.S. An academic,
professional, and cultural immersion will allow Fellows
to network with peers from across Africa. The fellows
were selected from 3 designated tracks: Business and
Entrepreneurship, Civic Leadership and Public Service.
She was also selected to participate in an 8 week
internship in Washington DC. After returning to
Cameroon she will have access to grant opportunities.
We are so happy for you Hilda and hope you enjoy
America.
Genuine peace and joy
come when women
follow God in every
area of their lives.
Elizabeth George

helps children and young people learn about God
and His plan for their lives. Congratulations! We are
so proud to have you working in this capacity.
Henriette Foki is passionate about stopping
abuse of women. She feels churches play a key
role as a first responder and refuge for victims of
abuse. Bible teaching and evangelism can be a
good way of stopping violence and domestic
abuse. Bible education must be given from
childhood to let our children grow up with
respect of themselves, respect of the opposite
sex and respect in their marriage. The church
must give a voice where there has been silence.
As SNAP Ministries is Supporting Native African
Pastors, we all believe this matter is one of Gods
concerns.

Dr. Roger has been
appointed president of
the AWANA Organization
in Cameroon. AWANA
stands for Approved
Workmen Are Not
Ashamed. It is a Bible
based program that

Thanks so much for helping with your gifts. SNAP Ministries is an all volunteer organization.
100% of your gifts directly benefit the ministry in Africa.
Prayer Request for the Ministry
1. The funding to send the main pastors
children to school is a bit low. Even
though our Cameroon micro-enterprises
have started to produce, some funding is
still needed. Please pray about this need
and how you can help.
2. To completely finish the Yaound church
with the Tyndale Theological Seminary
and Bible Institute on the third floor, we
still need $73,000. One of our Cameroon
pastors sold his home to help supply the
$120,000 already spent on the church
and many are giving all they have. If any
of you could help please designate your
support to this very worthy cause. This
church is now a very big presence in the
capital city of Yaound.
3. Pastor Claudes mother passed away July
24
th
. Please pray for his family. We are
so sorry for their loss.

Joyful Hearts with Like Minds Enjoying
Gods Ministry
One missing team member is Michael Kosta who was behind
the camera. Henriette flew in from Maryland to spend a few
days getting to know our SNAP team. It was a blessing and a
joy for all of us! The meeting was very rich with ideas and
quite successful.
