Commissioned by Westminster to:
Provide support & access to treatment for residents & those confirmed as responsibility of Westminster who live in the South of the Borough
Work with both Drug & Alcohol Users anyone who sees their use as a problem South Westminster Drug & Alcohol Service Who are we?
We are an adult service, & will work with any resident of South Westminster over the age of 18 years old

One to one Counselling One to one Key Working Structured Group Day Program Education, Training, Volunteering & Employment Training Support for friends & family Relapse Prevention Referral into residential detox & rehab Aftercare Support Complementary Therapies South Westminster Drug & Alcohol Service Group Program
Step 1: Introduction to Groups Suitable for chaotic users. Easy Access support for those not yet ready to commit to a structured program
Step 2: Stabilisation Groups: - 12 Five day week, which must be attended a minimum of two days.
Step 3: Moving Forward: - 6 week program for those who are stable & motivated but not abstinent
Step 4: Abstinent: 12 week program open to those who do not want residential rehab, may have finished rehab but needs further support or released from prison or discharged from hospital

In house specialist who supports clients with ETE needs & goals IT & ETE groups as part of the group program Accredited Peer Mentor training program & placements With Westminster Volunteer Centre, volunteer prep training & supported placements at other organisations

Support friends and family affected by someones drug use 1:1 Group work -Advice and information -Understanding of treatment services and treatment options -Drug and alcohol awareness -Develop better coping responses -increase support networks
South Westminster Drug and Alcohol Services Substance misusing parents; Addressing the impact of substance misuse on children through 1:1 Group work (Mums and Dads Group) -Impact of substance misuse on parenting -Support with parenting skills -Build resilience and improve relationships -Increase support networks for family network -Advocacy support with childrens services

Outreach Support - work closely with all the Building Based Services Teams, Connections at St Martins & Passage Day Centre Hostel Support - We have staff based in 7 hostels where we support residents who find it hard to access the main service due to physical ailments or the chaos of their use or drinking

Detox: ave cost 2,300 for 10 days Rehab: ave cost 7,800 for 12 weeks
Number of clients put through detox and/or rehab since 2010 - 137 101 completed detox 83 referred onto rehab. 54 completed & are still substance free
