The 3rd International Conference on Spoken
Language Processing (ICSLP 94) by bot h humans
and machines covering broad aspects of language
and speech will be held at the PACI FI CO
YOKOHAMA in Yokohama. Prospective au-
thors are invited to propose papers in any of the

The Technical Program Committee of ICSLP
94 will select papers for presentation and will
organize the final program. Submission of an
abstract implies commitment to submit a four
page, camera-ready version of the paper and to
present the paper if the abstract is accepted. The
working language of the conference is English.
S u b mi s s i o n o f a bs t r a c t s
Prepare four copies of a 400 word, 1-page
abstract of the paper. The abstract should con-
tain the title of the paper, name(s) and address(es)
of the author(s), and should be followed by the
code(s) of related technical area(s) ( A- Z) listed
in the order of preference and the name, tele-

phone and fax numbers of the author(s) to whom
the accept ance/ r ej ect i on notice should be sent.
The abstract should be received by 28 February
