BY-LAWS

Membership
Section 1. Regular members shall be admitted to this charitable organization on every meeting on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the
month.
Section 2. Candidates for regular membership should be sponsored by at least two (2) regular members, pass a written exam,
and recite an oath of loyalty to the organization.
Section 3. Candidate for associate membership shall be only admitted for membership if he has shown exemplary work and
diligence in his field. He must have at least two (2) years of service.
Section 4. Candidate for honorary membership shall be only admitted for membership if he has shown exemplary work and
diligence in his field. He must have at least three (3) years of service.

Dues
Section 5. Dues in this organization shall be one hundred fifty (150) pesos for membership fee every school year.
Section 6. Absent for two consecutive meetings will be fine twenty (20) pesos, late comers without valid reasons will also be fine
five (5) pesos.

Elections
Section 7. Members that are seeking position in an office must be elected through a majority vote and the method of voting must
be through ballot.
Section 8. Members that are already in a position cannot take another position.
Section 9. A person may be elected officer if he/she meets the following qualification:
1. Must have no failing grade, INC, DRP, HNA
2. Accumulated units that must be taken is 15 and above (per semester).
3. Must not be an officer on a different organization.
4. Must be at-least 16 years old.

Officers
Section 10. The president shall preside over all meetings of the organization, sign all official correspondence and contracts, and
represent the club at social functions of the school. He may delegate these responsibilities to any members of the organization. He
shall also supervise the programs that is made and cumulatively formed by the assembly.
Section 11. The vice-president shall succeed the president upon the removal from office, or permanent incapacity. He shall
perform the duties of the office of the president during the temporary absence of the incumbent.
Section 12. The secretary shall keep full and correct minutes of all proceedings of the organization and of the executive board,
preserve all records and communications thereof, and conduct all official correspondence of said bodies.
Section 13. The treasurer shall collect and receive all dues, payments, and donations of the members, pay out the funds in his
charge all properly approved accounts, and shall act as custodian of all properties and funds of the organization. Together with the
auditor, he shall render a financial report to the organization at least once (1) every semester.
Section 14. The auditor shall see to it that all activities noted by the treasure are accurate and in general, to overlook that all
funds, properties and miscellaneous under the treasurer are properly kept and updated at all times.
Section 15. The business manager shall take charge on transactions concerning with purchase of materials that would be needed in
programs.
Section 16. The press relations officer shall take charge of giving proper and due publicity to all activities of the organization. He
is to inform them of upcoming events that the public may be eager to participate in.
Section 17. Each year representative shall serve as the voice that would reach out the sentiments of respective year levels.

Executive Board
Section 18. Within two (2) weeks following the elections of the executive board, the president of the organization, or in his
absence, the vice-president in that order shall call the board to a meeting at which shall be elected its chairperson from among their
number. The secretary of the organization shall be ex-oficio secretary of the executive board.
Section 19. The executive board functions mainly to plan projects and create activities that could be beneficiary for the members
of the group and the students of University of San Agustin. The board may also transact business to those organizations or
individual persons that are willing to donate money or goods to the organization.
Section 20. The executive board shall meet at the call of its chairperson or upon written request of at least four (4) of its
members.

Resignation
Section 21. Resignations shall be presented in writing to the president or to the chairman of the executive board. He shall then
wait for confirmation of his official resignation as the treasure checks his balance and dues.

Expulsion
Section 22. Any member may be expelled for cause upon the recommendation of a majority of the committee on privileges. The
approval of recommendation by two-thirds vote of the members of the organization present at a meeting call for the purpose,
provided the member concerned shall have been notified of his proposed expulsion.




Funds and Disbursements
Section 23. all funds accruing to the organization shall be deposited by the treasurer in a reputable bank in the name of the
organization, and no disbursement may be made them from unless for an account duly approved by the organization and signed by
the president and treasurer.

Committees
Section 24. The following committees shall be appointed by the president at the first meeting of the year.
1. Travel committee, composed of seven (7) members, and with jurisdiction over all travel-related works.
3. Awesome committee , composed of six (6) members, and with jurisdiction over all matter pertaining any activities and programs
of the group.
4. Committee on rules, composed of five (5) members with jurisdiction over all matters relating to constitution and by-laws and
rules of the organization.

Quorum
Section 25. One- third of the regular members of the organization shall constitute for the transaction of business.
Section 26. A majority of the members of the executive board or of any committee shall constitute a quorum for the transaction
of business within said bodies.

Amendments
Section 27. These by-laws may be amended at any regular meeting by two-thirds vote of the members voting, provided that a
notice of a proposed amendment has been given previously to the members.

Parliamentary Authority
Section 28. Except as are, or may be, provided in the constitution, or by-laws, and rules of this organization, all its meeting shall
be conducted according to parliamentary law as set forth.

STANDING RULES
1. All members are required to attend regular meetings on 2
nd
and 4
th
Saturday of the month.
2. All members are required to actively participate on all activities of the group.
3. All members must pay dues for funds to support any plans of the group.
