APTC Junior Intern Program

APTC is looking for (up to) two high school students to volunteer as Junior
Interns (JIs) for the 2014 summer season. Applicants must be 16- 19 years of
age, entering their junior or senior year of high school in fall 2013, or graduating
from high school spring 2014.

Junior Interns must be available the following dates:
June 16 June 22 8:30am 5:30pm
July 14 August 8 8:30am 5:30pm

In addition, those cast in Alice in Wonderland, will be need to be available for
those rehearsals and performances (dates for these performances can be viewed
on the Allenberry website.)

The Junior Intern position is designed to give experience in various areas of
theatre arts and leadership. Junior Interns will work alongside APTC teaching
artists to assist with all aspects of our program and may include:

Performing in Alice in Wonderland
Working in the office
Assisting the tech staff
Assisting during the Junior Company and Intro to APTC camps

We are looking for Junior Interns who are alumni of APTC, leaders in their
school and community, and who have interest in the theatre arts. A friendly and
out-going personality is a must, along with a sense of humor and the ability to
get along with people of all ages and personalities. Applicants should also have
experience working with children.

In addition, Junior Interns who are 16 or 17 years old are encouraged to register
as a camper for the Ensemble Experience, June 22 July 6.

Interested individuals should plan on attending the local auditions on March 2,
2014 at 2:30pm at Allenberry. Please being your completed application form and
attachments, resume (if available), headshot (if available) and come prepared with
a 16-bar vocal selection and a 1-minute contemporary - comedic monologue.
Selected applicants will then be contacted for an interview.
