JOB DESCRIPTION AMERICAS REGION
Job Title: Engineering Analyst Manager: Head of Global Engineering Direct / Indirect Reports: None
Main Purpose of Job
Primary responsibility: Perform in-depth engineering analysis and consultancy for a variety of rotating machinery applications with focus on noise, vibration and
dynamics analysis. Customer base is primarily outside North America.
Secondary responsibility: Provide technical customer and sales support globally to support and grow our engineering consulting and software product customer
base outside North America. Position will require some international travel to Japan 6-8 times per year.
Main Responsibilities
Support and/or lead noise/vibration/dynamics consultancy/services/R&D projects (e.g troubleshooting, clean-sheet design projects, optimization, etc). This
is the primary job duty and may include both CAE and testing activities.
Support Client technical and commercial noise/vibration/dynamics activities globally, both pre-sale and post-sale.
o Visit customers and provide onsite technical support for noise/vibration/dynamics issues.
o Lead and prepare noise/vibration/dynamics webinars for technical audiences.
o Lead and assist in the preparation of noise/vibration/dynamics technical workshops through creation of technical material (datasheets,
