The Systems Analyst understands and/or challenges the business requirements and develops the
means to configure the respective solutions to support these requirements. The person in this role will
serve as the Business Lead within a self-managed Agile Development Team dedicated to an
Enterprise customer.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include but are not limited to:
Troubleshooting and recommending alternatives to resolve conflicts between business requirements
and standard system functionality
Participating in design sessions, brainstorming activities, development sprints, etc.
Serving as the primary domain and solution subject matter expert for project execution
Using and applying proven practices on projects, gleaned from experience and consultation with
experts; appropriately tailored for the clients and their cultures
Functioning as the hands-on application expert
Preparing/reviewing project deliverables (such as benefits realization strategy, to-be functional
requirements, the business process master list, business process design documents, to-be
functional designs, baseline configurations, process maps, control matrices, testing scenarios,
and/or business process procedures) to ensure that they meet project objectives
Participating in practice development by supporting sales activities
Building and maintaining relationships with key executives and a network of business professionals
Demonstrating thought leadership by writing or contributing to published articles, practice
methodologies and tools, and whitepapers
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors degree with concentration in business, marketing, finance, economics or other
quantitative field such as statistics or computer science
Strong analytical skills. Knowledge of forecasting and finance modeling techniques, marketing
research and multivariate analysis tools applied to marketing
Ability to develop and effectively communicate complex concepts and ideas
Well-developed experience in Agile, SCRUM or similar development methodology
Ability to work in cross-functional teams
Experience with asset lifecycle information management principles (design-build-operate-maintain-
retire)
Experience in developing/implementing various test strategies (Module, Integration, User-Acceptance
and Stress Test) and experience in developing training materials
Project planning and management skills
Knowledge of one or more coding techniques such as MVC, Flash/Flex, .NET, VBA, Access, Excel or
similar. Experience in SAS, SPSS or similar analysis tools is a plus
Solid relational database design and development skills, primarily SQL
Successful candidate will combine creative thinking skills with a dynamic presence and the ability to
win the confidence of the customer
