Meeting Client for Office Communications Server 2007. 4rgani$ations no! ha&e t!o 4ffice
Li&e ,eeting o#tions: they can subscribe to the 4ffice Li&e ,eeting ser&ice or they can host
meetings using 4ffice )ommunications 2er&er 2000" 1 single ,icrosoft 4ffice Li&e ,eeting
client can be used both by 4ffice Li&e ,eeting ser&ice subscribers and by 4ffice
)ommunications 2er&er 2000 users"
User mode installation. Unli-e #re&ious &ersions of the ,icrosoft 4ffice Li&e ,eeting client,
there is no! a user mode installation ca#ability that allo!s users !ho do not ha&e administrator
#ermissions on a com#uter to install the meeting client" 5he L,2etu#"e'e a##lication installs the
meeting client according to the user9s #ermissions on the com#uter" If the user does not ha&e
administrator #ermissions, he or she is able to install the meeting client and #artici#ate in
meetings !ith some limitations"

If your organi$ation has de#loyed 4ffice )ommunications 2er&er 2000, you can host meetings on
your ser&ers" Users #artici#ate in meetings through a meeting client that is installed on their
com#uters" 5o schedule and manage meetings, they use the )onferencing 1dd%in for ,icrosoft
4ffice 4utloo-, as sho! in Figure >"

conferencing to be a&ailable to users" Dy default, these flags are turned off" 5hese flags are
