We had a very good
vestry meeting on
Thursday at which we
agreed that the Parish
become a friend of
Bishopdale Theological College (BTC)
for the cost of $400/year. BTC is our
very own Diocesan college and is
engaged in training leaders of the
future for our churches and vestry felt it
right to be behind such an enterprise.
We also gave $100 to the Anglican
Board of Missions Tsunami Appeal and
$50 to the Anglican Church Army.
Vestry also ran through an informal
review of the Cobden service taking a
look at each element of the service and
asking ourselves whether we could
improve on what we already do. On the
whole we were very happy with the
service with just a few minor
suggestions to try out for the future.
ECUMENICAL AFTERNOON TEA
Ladies of the parish are invited to join
the AAW members at the Teddy Bear
Picnic annual ecumenical afternoon
tea to be held at Holy Trinity Church on
