MEDIUM CAPACITY SPECIAL VEHICLE FOR FIREFIGHTING ON RENAULT MIDLUM 240.15 LIGHT (4X2) CHASSIS
1. DESTINATION The special vehicle is designed for firefighting intervention in urban or rural areas with a focus on rapid movement, achieve short time response of the device and use high efficiency extinguishing water indoors. The special vehicle can work independently (using water from its reservoir or other sources) or in cooperation with other similar vehicles.
2. HOMOLOGATION, APPROVAL The special vehicle will be approved at the Romanian Auto Register for movement on public roads in Romania and will be delivered to the Vehicle Identity Card.
3. QUALITY SC ROMPRIM S.A. Bucharest has certificate no. C 935/2007/ 15.05.2007 issued by CERTIND certifying the implementation of quality assurance system SR EN ISO 9001:2001 / ELOT EN ISO 9001:2000.
4.GENERAL ORGANIZATION, STRUCTURE
4.1. Chassis: RENAULT MIDLUM 240.15 LIGHT 4.1.1. Category of use: medium capacity special vehicle for firefighting 4.1.2. Vehicle Category: N3 according to Annex 1 to the Regulation on technical conditions to be met for admission into road vehicles on public roads in Romania circulation published in the Official Gazette of Romania, Part I, Nr.251/15.04.2002 ; 4.1.3. Traction formula: 4x2; 4.1.4. Tilting cab with 2 doors and 1 + 2 seats 4.1.5. The electrical system is equipped with sockets for connection to external customers : 4.1.5.1. Voltage: 24V 4.1.5.2. 5.2. Specific installations compartment: 5.2.1. Fire extinguishing installation for intervention include: 5.2.1.1. Pumping unit located in the back, with automatic priming with two pressure stages. 5.2.1.1.1. The low-pressure stage with the following nominal parameters: flow 2000 l / min at 10 bar; 5.2.1.1.2. High-pressure stage following nominal parameters: Flow 250 l / min at 40 bar. 5.2.1.1.3. Automatic priming is an integral part of the pump group. 5.2.1.2. The inlet and outlet collectors 5.2.1.2.1. Collector inlet (suction) contains: a suction pipe provided with fixed and blocked connection for the water supply from natural sources; pipe connecting the intake manifold and water tank, water supply for the pumping unit from the water tank fitted with manually operated valve separation. 5.2.1.2.2. The discharge manifold low pressure stage includes: two discharge pipes fitted with fixed connections and clogged and shut off valves; pipe connecting the water tank and the gradual discharge manifold on the low pressure stage to fill the water tank with water pump from natural water sources, the pipeline contains a valve separating the spherical trap;
5.2.1.3. The discharge system on the high pressure stage contains: drum with 30 ml high-pressure hose and manually operated discharge device.
5.3. Water Tanks 5.3.1 The water tank is provided with breaking waves and is equipped with overflow and removable cover that allows the access to the interior thereof to perform maintenance operations: 5

5.4. The superstructure is made up of: the resistance of the body is made of rectangular steel profiles; outer shell is made of aluminum sheet side walls, front and rear and corrugated aluminum sheet on the roof. Work Installation and accessories are arranged in closed compartments with aluminum shutters rolling drum system.
5.5. Command installation: 5.5.1. Location: control panel is mounted central rear; 5.5.2. Working position: safely access of the operator, quickly and efficiently, with the possibility to do all orders and handling process of valves from the working with water installation;
