Job title: Human Resources Manager
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Analyze wage and salary reports and data to determine competitive compensation plan.
Draft Policies in alignment with employment act and directives advising department managers,
staff of Company policy regarding equal employment opportunities, compensation, and employee
benefits.
Develop and maintain a human resources system that meets the management information needs;
oversee the analysis, maintenance, and communication of records required by law or local
governing bodies, or other departments in the organization in relation to employees.
Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward Company goals.
Keep records of benefits plans participation such as insurance and pension plan, personnel
transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and
employee statistics for government reporting.
Coordinate with management on staff training , interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions,
performance review, safety, and other matters regarding employees
Advice management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues; Respond to inquiries
regarding policies, procedures, and programs; Design implement and administer performance
review program; prepares budget of human resources operations; Represents organization at
personnel-related hearings and investigations.
Salary: Negotiable
Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from College or university; or one to
two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Other skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents; Respond effectively to the most sensitive
inquiries or complaints; Ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative
techniques or style.
Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations to top management, public
groups, and/or board of directors;
Ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations required to perform functions
related to HR; Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of
intellectual and practical problems.


(2) Assistant Manager, Marketing/ PR
Job title: Assistant Manager Public Relations
To assist the Management to develop and implement tactical plans to promote Addu
International Airport operations and thereby support our sales efforts both through local and
international contracts. And ensure that the airports image is professionally reflected in all
communications with the airports current and potential business associates within the local and
international community

Principal Accountabilities
Reports directly to and assists the Marketing Manager or designated Management staff
Proactively pitch and secure positive media stories on a regular basis (with a strong
emphasis on generating top notch media coverage within all media forms including ,
Travel Trade, and other tourism and business media)
Continually develop new and creative story ideas to pitch to media , and drafting and
disseminating all news releases, media alerts, and pitch letters and maintain good public
relations wiyj government authorities and all stake holders
Provide informational assistance, including fact checking of media stories and fulfilling
photo/video requests by media
Assist in developing and providing content ideas for the production of newsletters at
regular intervals
Assist the marketing Manager with special promotional projects and other marketing
related work
Complete monthly PR reports, which includes monitoring and reviewing media coverage
and clippings
Updating media lists
Monitor marketing and PR budget and expenses

Educational Requirements:
o Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, communications or related field
o 2-5 years of public relations/corporate communications experience. Travel,
Tourism and Aviation experience is strongly preferred.
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience drafting
and editing high quality press releases.
o Candidates must have solid experience or knowledge of generating high visibility
media coverage within TV, print, and online outlets. In particular, extensive
experience is required in identifying and prioritizing television sponsorship
opportunities and in securing major coverage
Other skills
A passion for media relations and maintaing good relationships
with all stake holders
Strategic thinker, creative writer and exceptional communicator
Take charge leadership and proactive attitude. Ability to work
independently, multi-task, problem solve with strong attention to
detail
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and
Powerpoint
Travel/Tourism/Aviation industry experience will be an added
advantage
Must have established media contacts or have knowledge of
developing lasting contacts in TV, print, online with travel
industry experience and contacts preferred.
