Note: Project work shall be continuously evaluated for phase I, phase II and after completion of the project.

Note:
* Lab Classes for two core subjects are compulsory - evaluation shall be made for 20 marks out of a total of 50 marks of IA for the
subject.
# For the remaining two core subjects, it can be field work, assignment, tutorials.
1. Project Work Phase - I: 6 weeks of compulsory work to be undertaken by the students after availing 2 weeks of vacation at the
end of II semester examinations. An extensive report on this work is to be submitted by the students and further a seminar on this
work must be presented during Semester III. This is to be evaluated for 50 Marks by the department committee constituted for the
purpose. This is to be included in the Marks Card of III semester.
2. Project Work Phase II: This is carried out for 3 days per week during Semester III (Effective Total Time: 5 Weeks). A report
on this work must be submitted and a Seminar on the same must be presented during Semester IV. This is to be evaluated for 50
marks by the department committee constituted for the purpose and is to be included in the Marks Card of Semester IV.
3. Project Work Phase III: This is carried out during Semester IV. A Seminar on this work must be presented at the end of
Semester IV. This is to be evaluated for 50 marks by the department committee constituted for the purpose and is to be included
in the Marks Card of Semester IV.
4. During the final viva, students have to submit all the reports.
5. The Project Valuation and Viva-Voce will be conducted by a committee consisting of the following
a. Head of the Department (Chairman).
b. Guide.
c. Two Examiners appointed by the university. (out of two external examiners at least one should be present).
