SYLLABUS FOR ADMISSION TEST (2013-14)

FOR GRADE I

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS :

1. The Admission Test Paper comprises 3 sections i.e. English, Mathematics and EVS/G.K.
2. The Maximum Marks allotted are 80 and the Time Duration for the test is 2 Hrs 30 Mins.
3. Internal choice may or may not be accorded.

SECTION : A (ENGLISH) MARKS ALLOTTED : 30

Course Content : A) Written: Dictation (a -z),Two and three letter words.
B) Oral: Story narration with actions, Concept of Opposites, Genders.

SECTION : B (MATHEMATICS) MARKS ALLOTTED : 30

Course Content: A) Written: Serial counting (1 to 100), Correlation of numbers and quantity,
Back counting (100 to 1), Random Counting (1to 100), What comes before, after and in
between, Addition and Subtraction.
B) Oral: Serial counting (1 to 100), Random counting (1- to 100).

SECTION : C (EVS/G.K) MARKS ALLOTTED : 20

Course Content : A) Oral: Water animals, Wild animals, Pet and Domestic animals, Insects, Seasons, Means of
Transport, National Symbols, Festivals of India, Our Helpers, Sports and Games.
