Romans 12: 9-12

Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to
what is good. Love one another with brotherly
affection. Outdo one another in showing honor. Do
not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the
Lord. Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be
constant in prayer.

MEGAN IN MANGO
Dear Friends,
This summer has found me soaking up as much Idaho
fun as possible. In June, I nalized the sale of my home
and moved. I also took one last class (for awhile) with the
Boise School District to ensure that I will be able to renew
my credential in 2016. I also traveled with my churchs
youth group to Grandview, WA. While there we served the
community by running a kids club and doing work projects
for the church. I nished out the month by coaching at a
local basketball camp for girls. June was very busy and
went by in a blink of an eye!
July seemed to slow down and I felt as though I had
time to spend with family and friends. July was also when I
began to gure out all that is needed for moving to Africa
for 2 years. Thanks to the Molsee family, I was able to have
space on their shipping container that is headed for Mango.
This was a blessing and a great way to get teaching supplies
and household items to Togo. I am thankful for my church
family and friends who donated many items that were
needed for both the school and my home. At the end of
July, I traveled to Washington to deliver a van-load full of
boxes, a chair, and a mattress. The container is packed and
will begin its long journey to Togo soon!
August has brought the excitement (and anxiousness) of
preparing to leave. I have kept busy with a trip to McCall,
nishing the church softball season, and packing, packing,
and more packing! I depart Boise on August 30th and will
arrive in Lome, Togo in the evening of August 31st. I will
be traveling the nal leg from Brussels to Lome with fellow
Mango missionaries, the Molsee and Niles families. As the
nal details come into place, I am reminded of Gods
provision and faithfulness. My prayer as I transition from
America to Togo and begin working with the missionaries
there is Romans 12:9-12. I want to be genuine in love,
show honor, and be constant in prayer. Thank you for your
prayers and support. I am thankful for each of you!
