The International Floorball Federation launched the
Development program in 2006 and this seminar is the first of its kind in New Zealand. It is built on the “Train the Trainer”-approach, including two different blocks, one for Coaching and one for Refereeing. The course consists of a combination of theoretical lectures, practical training sessions, group works and hand-on training and match observation during three days. The seminar is a joint event with the Wellington Floorball Club organising the venues and the IFF supplying the educational materials and the lecturers at the seminar at their cost. The Seminar programme has been highly successful in assisting the development of Floorball throughout the world with seminars held in a number of countries. The IFF has built a course material, consisting of lectures, practical rehearsals and instructions, which are all in English. All the participants to this course will receive the educational material from the course. Participants are responsible for their costs related to travel, accommodation and food. Wellington Floorball Club can help with accomodation and is preparing special package deal options for accomodation and food. Please contact wellington@floorball.org.nz for any further questions concerning participation, accommodation and travelling.
