THE CITY GOVERNMENT

Garbage collection accounts for a large portion of the citys budget. If the community is
aware that we can produce fuel by means of talisay oil, they will make their own talisay
fuel pits and experimental sheds, segregate wastes, and eventually reduce the volume of
garbage thrown to the waste containers, thereby reducing the citys garbage collection
costs.
NEGROS ORIENTAL STATE UNIVERSITY (NORSU)
The result of this study is beneficial to the university especially, NORSU-BSC as it
would be able to help the community in search for alternative fuel sources as an aid to
increasing fuel price. The ranch, tree farm, rice fields, and in some specific parts of
NORSU Campus are littered with leaves and other decomposable materials most
especially and specifically, Talisay leaves and fruits which are being burned by students
during civics period. The result of this investigation will be an eye opener to the faculty
and staff members who indiscriminately burn and throw Talisay leaves and fruits despite
the warning given by the College of Arts and Sciences that leaves and fruits must be
placed in the compost pits to decompose.
DEPARTMENT OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY (DOST)
Through the result of this study, this agency can launch an information drive, seminars
and symposium on how to produce biofuel through the extraction of Talisay oil, its
importance to mankind and its role in the restoration and conservation of the environment
likewise; this agency can encourage more research in related fields through assistance
and in the form of scholarship and funding.
DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENT AND NATURAL RESOURCES (DENR)
Pollution from commercial and chemical fuels applied to fueled machine and vehicles
often leach in the air or atmosphere and in the ozone layer that are carried by the rain to
rivers contributing to the water pollution and harm to the existing life in the biosphere
which are two of the most critical problems of the 20
th
century. Through the findings of
this study, water pollution and life harm caused by the above chemicals will be
minimized through the use and/or application of organic and biofuels or fuels that are
derived from nature and by that, air pollution will be minimized and in consequence, the
impact of carbon dioxide emissions in the atmosphere will also be minimized which may
result to the lessened effect of global warming and greenhouse effect.
The result of this study has great importance and implications to instruction, research,
extension and production.
INSTRUCTION
A suggested procedure on making fuel through the use of Talisay oil based on this study
can be included in Home Economics and Livelihood Education (HELE) and Technology
and Home Economics (THE) of the Elementary and Secondary levels, respectively.
Investigatory projects conducted by students taking up Agriculture, Chemistry, and
Biological Sciences can apply the procedural steps adopted in this study.



RESEARCH
This research will lead to other researches which will find other methods of making
Talisay oil/ biofuel process and also other methods of recycling and reusing
biodegradable solid wastes thus decreasing useless garbage thrown in sanitary landfill.
EXTENSION
With this study, the community will benefit on the aspect of proper waste disposal,
generate income, good health of community residents and less expenses on garbage
collection for the Government.
PRODUCTION/IGP
In using fuel in vehicles and machines, commercial and chemicals are discouraged;
instead using fuel derived from the raw stuff of nature are used to enhance fuel
production of the country. Manual, convenient and easy to make, therefore will not be
used in household only but can be sold also to the market for the use of the majority and
consumers.
Through this study, people will be encourage to make their own fuel pits and support the
production of it to increase the economic growth caused by high fuel production.
The finished products of Talisay oil as fuel can also be endorse to the neighboring
country and export it to gain extra income for the Government that can help in increasing
the improvement rate of the country.
