A short prayer
Dear God, we thank you for other that you
given us. We thank you for each students that
were here today. We also thank you for our
teachers who are always patient and
committed to teach us. We prayed that you
give us wisdom and knowledge to understand
all the things that we need to learn today.
Teach us to be loving to our fellow classmates
and teachers. Guide us whatever we do and
wherever we go. Help us to cooperate when
having a group activities guide us too listen to
our teachers attentively Lord, We thank you for
our family for the talents ad good things that
you have given each of us. Please guide us,
protect us , and equip us. This day and
everyday. As we grow together in your love.

MY AUTOBIOGRAPHY






I was born on a warm, sunny day in June 9, 1999. I still live in Palina
west , Urdaneta City, Pangasinan and I go to school at Our Lady of
the Lilies Academy. I live with my mom Josephine Parinas, who is a
headteacher at Palina East NHS,and my father Reynante Parinas who
is an assistant chief nurse at Sacred Heart Hospital, I am the only
child in the family
Who I am in life.
My name is John Rey Parinas . I started school when I was six-years-
old. I am a quite ad friendly boy, who love to surf the internet, listen to
music, and some sort of exercise such as biking and jogging together
with my cousin, Mac. I also have pets in the house, 15 dogs (5
labradors, 1 great dain, 9 ascals). They are soft, cute and huggable,
and they relieve my stress from school. I managed to work and clean
the house after schools and weekends.
What life means to me.
Life to me means friends and family who you can trust and who trusts
you. I am pretty much on the happy side of life, but like all teens I do I
have my "days of." That means I do have some sad days or
depressed days. I have a few friends here that sort of look out for me
and when I am having a bad day, I have someone here at school to
talk to. I make my school days go by thinking of either the next hour or
what I will do when I get home or on the weekend.
I dream to be a professional chef, to help back
my parents,since I am the only child, and no one will take good care of
them when they are elderly.



PURPOSE OF PORTFOLIO
A reflection of all aspect of students life, it is not a merely a collection of paper
such as quizzes, examinations, etc. but moreover a collection of memories that
you will look in the future.
Throughout the portfolio process students have the opportunity to
learn about themselves in relation to the student outcomes. They
assess their skills, interests, and abilities and reflect on their
growth and progress in all facets of their lives. Self-reflection is
an integral part of the portfolio process and an essential skill for
problem solving and life planning.
Students learn responsibility and independence by developing
their portfolios. As they learn about themselves and practice the
different facets of portfolio development and management, they
assume more responsibility for meeting portfolio requirements. If,
initially, they do not manage their time well they have an
opportunity to reflect on the situation, problem-solve, and make
plans to improve. Throughout the portfolio process students have
the opportunity to apply what they learn to goals they have set
related to their portfolio and, ultimately, to post-secondary
planning.
As students develop their portfolios, they learn, first hand, about
the portfolio's purpose and their own responsibility in meeting
portfolio expectations. They develop a shared understanding with
the educators who support them, and apply concepts from the
portfolio to school, work, and community expectations.
The portfolio process is designed to help students become self-
directed, independent, resourceful learners. The goal is for
students to internalize and develop competency in the student
outcome areas.
