We will not be covering Labs 9, 17, 23, and 26.
Homework 1: Due Monday, July 7 at 2pm.
Homework 2: Due Friday, July 11, at 6pm.
Homework 3: Due Friday, July 18, at 6pm.
Homework 4: Due Friday, July 23, at 6pm.
Homework 3: Due Friday, August 1, at 6pm.
Homework 6: Due Thursday, August 07, at 2pm.
Homework should be neat clearly written with no fringes, please!
Sign and date your labs, and leave the lab book in the classroom for grading no need
to carry it back and forth or tear out the sheets! A bookmark is recommended.
Suggested organization of time:
- You are allowed both sides of a single 8.3 x 11 sheet of paper for all of the quizzes
and for the final exam. This doesn't have to be the same sheet of paper, so you may
want to build it as you go and get used to referring to it during labs and homework.
- Quizzes: (10%) A typical quiz will feature 2-3 short multiple choice problems. 1
correct answer is worth 1 point, 2 or more correct answers are worth 2 points. The
lowest 3 quizzes will be dropped.
- Homework: (23%) Grading will be lenient, to encourage you to hand in your own
work. The homework is designed to prepare you for the final exam, so it is in your
best interest to understand it
- Labs: (40%) Labs will be graded sternly, since you have the time to work them out.
Any lab that does not represent your work will be given a non-droppable 0.
Otherwise, your lowest lab score will be dropped, and up to two more may be dropped
with an official excuse.
- Final Exam: (23%) This exam will be difficult. Study accordingly.
