%Red Jambhala with three faces& si' hands and four legs The body is red in colour& li(e ruby&
and blazing with light )eautiful and desirous in appearance& slightly fierce and smiling The main
face is red * laughing& the right white and left blue The first pair of hands hold a precious gem
and a +ewel filled s(ullcup The middle two a hoo( and lasso The lowest two each ,hold- a
mongoose spewing .arious +ewels The two right legs are bent and the two left slightly straight;
pressing on the male and female lords of wealth /dorned with the eight great sna(es and .arious

:ith three faces& si' hands and four legs the right face is white& left dar( blue& each with three
eyes The three right hands hold a hoo(& +ewel and a +ewel spitting mongoose The left hold a
s(ullcup filled with +ewels& lasso and a mongoose 0eaning to the right side& his four feet press
down on two wealth ya(shas (daemons of classical ;ndian mythology) ;n a slightly peaceful and
slightly wrathful demeanor& plump and happy& adorned with opulent +ewel ornaments& sil( scar.es
and a long sna(e nec(lace he stands abo.e a sun disc and lotus seat& surrounded by a large pin(
nimbus The eight auspicious emblems& multi*coloured wishing +ewels and bolts of fabric are
arranged neatly in front /bundant foliage to each side frames the central figure
/t the top center sits the buddha of long*life& /mitayus& red& with the two hands in the gesture of
meditation cradling a long*life .ase To the left is :hite Jambhala with one face and two hands
holding a +eweled stic( and mongoose& riding a dragon; accompanied by four da(inis of .arious
colours To the right is the goddess <uru(ulla& red& with one face and four hands holding a hoo(&
lasso& bow and arrow; standing in a dancing posture abo.e a corpse seat
/t the bottom left is =ellow Jambhala holding a bi+apura(a fruit and a mongoose sitting with the
consort yellow >asudhara To the right is )lac( Jambhala& na(ed& holding a s(ullcup and
mongoose& in a standing posture This form of Red Jambhala belongs to the Nyingmapa 'Terma' *
Re.ealed Treasure Tradition and was disco.ered as an '?arth Treasure' by Trapa Ngonshe
