Lets be appropriate, proficient, effective
Language plays a role of mammoth
importance in our waking and sleeping hours alike.
We communicate a number of feelings, share ideas,
and exchange opinions to people around us using
languagesometimes by talking and other times
by walking. In both these acts we, respectively, use
language and body language. Technically, this
practice is called verbal and non-verbal
communication within which the former is
(usually) considered important and independent of
the later.

Aim of the Workshop
Bearing the notion of importance and
independence in mind, this workshop intends to
enlighten its participants by letting them experience
and understand that in daily-life communication
how important it is to strike a balance between
verbal and non-verbal communication. Moreover,
how essential is this balanced communication in
the modern corporate/professional settings to be
perched high.
This workshop will benefits its participants
with the following:
Better pronunciation and accent
Speaking (talking) with stress and intonation
Basic ethics of body language in professional
set-up
Context specific vocabulary the sources and
resources

Rationale for the Workshop
Be it ENGLISH or URDU effective
communication and polished pronunciation matters
a lot in winning you an ear of your students and of
your colleagues. Hence, it is worthwhile to make
(your) pronunciation CORRECT; accent
APPROPRIATE; and body language EFFECTIVE.
