Historical Balloon Release at the State Capitol
Scheduled for Sunday May 5th at 3pm
It was nearly one year ago that founder, Kim Head, envisioned dyslexics across
Arkansas releasing silver balloons from the state capitol steps. Since then, as you
know, much effort has gone toward changing the educational landscape for
Arkansans who are affected by dyslexia. In just a few short weeks, Kim's dream will
become a reality...

The Arkansas Campaign for Grade Level Reading is sponsoring a
landmark celebration to celebrate the passage of SB33. Together, we
warmly invite you to join us in celebrating Arkansas' future
reading successes from the steps of the State Capitol on Sunday,
May 5th at 3pm. We will gather together and make history as we release balloons
and celebrate all dyslexic children in Arkansas soaring to success.
In 2013, Arkansas has risen to the challenge of addressing the needs of dyslexics;
we have taken a stand to invest in our future. As a result, our children are going to
reach new heights and soar to their full potential.
On May 5th, our message will be simple: we celebrate our future and we wish to
impart hope into those in other states who are still dreaming this dream. No doubt
our victory will lend more impact to their ght for an appropriate education.
So gather your friends, children, and extended family! If you are a student, bring
your teacher. If you are a teacher, bring your students. Let's CELEBRATE!
A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Sponsors:
We would not have a reason to celebrate if
it were not for you. When things seemed
impossible, you could have stopped
ghting and been content with knowing
you had tried. But Senator Elliott, Senator
Key, and Representative Catlett continued
to ght on. They are the epitome of true
leaders and the reason we have a dyslexia
law in Arkansas.
Thank you, Sponsors. You are a hero to 1 in 5 little
Arkansans, and many more!
