Miguel Antonio - Guitar

Born in 1960 in the United States, Miguel Antonio began his musical training on piano at the age of four. By age eight
Miguel was learning classical guitar and by age fifteen began performing professionally.
In 1979, Mr. Antonio attended the music school at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas and afterwards,
travelled to Spain for a more in depth study of Flamenco guitar. During his career, he has studied with Pepe Romero,
Juan Serrano, Paco Pena, Mario Escudero, Sabicas, Manolo Sanlucar, Manolo Franco, Enrique de Melchor, Serranito and
many others while travelling Spain. As an accompanist, Miguel has toured with Jose Greco, the Maria Benitez Teatro
Flamenco, Mariano de Cordoba, and others worldwide. As a performer and educator, Miguel combines Flamenco,
Classical and Latin American folk music in his concerts.Some performances have included; The International Guitar
Festival in Cordoba, Spain, Festival Internacional de Taxco, Guerrero, Mexico, Instituto Mexicano de Flamencologia de
ciudad Mexico, Universidad Pedagogica Mexico D.F., Escuela de Bellas Artes, Mexico D.F., American University Cairo,
Egypt, The operas El Amor Brujo and a Vida Breve as well as master classes for universities and guitar societies. Mr.
Antonio is also a Luthier, restoring and repairing stringed instruments of all types.


Giancarlo Angioni - Classical/Classical Guitar/Classic Rock
Giancarlo Angioni is one of the refreshing new virtuoso's of this age. Angioni has performed with various orchestras
worldwide and has built his reputation of excellence which has been recognized by diverse critics and various television
shows across the world. His unique technique and talent have set him apart from the rest, creating his own brand of
excellence.

After graduating in 1984 with a highly esteemed Masters degree in guitar mastery, in which he studied under Alexandre
Lagoya, Pepe Romero and Celidonio Romero to name a few. Angioni then followed up his accomplishment with
numerous concerts in Europe and later Mexico.

As in many cases when the student excels they often become the teacher. Angioni has taught in various Music
orientated universities including those in Belgium, Italy, France, Spain, and Mexico.

In a show of true versatility Angioni performed in the "Concierto d'Aranjuez" with the Belgium Orchestra in 1985.
Leading to other various appearances with other orchestras such as the "Orchestre de Chambre de Wallonie."

A chance meeting in the South of France later led to Angioni performing with the legendary Manitas de Plata. They
were discovered by Brigitte Bardot and are related to the pop band Gypsy Kings.

Then it was on to bigger and better events, for instance the time period of 1991 to 1994 he entered in the Reine Fabiola,
(Queen of Belgium) an important competition for guitar players.

Since his evolution from childhood dreams into adulthood realities Angioni began to release numerous records and
then he went on to be featured on other European celebrities' albums. To name a few; Plastic Bertrand, Company
Creole and for Pino Latucca the pianist for Charles Aznavour and Enrico Marcias. It was then that they wrote the copy
written masterpiece Baillando con Pepita.

His individual albums all gems in their own rights such as Dolce Vita, and the self titled Giancarlo Angioni have found
their ways into homes across the world.

To add to the already impressive resume Angioni can perform in several languages such as; Italian, French, Spanish,
English, Japanese and Tagalog.

From a the tender age of three to the established musician he has become Angioni has never stopped his open flow of
emotions to those that support him. He continues to amaze on a regular basis, and do not plan on seeing an end to that
anywhere in the near future.

James Driscoll
Bassist James Driscoll has been an active member of the DFW music scene for 20 years and has performed with Dan
Haerle, George Garzone, Joe McBride, Ed Soph, Doc Severinsen and many more. After earning a BM in Jazz
Performance from the University of North Texas, he began an adjunct faculty position at Richland College (DCCCD)
where he teaches bass performance. In addition, he operates a small studio in Dallas where he composes for music
production libraries and mixes and masters artist recordings.


Russ Hewitt
Award winning, world renowned guitarist Russ Hewitt has been playing guitar since he was eleven. He explains his style
of play as "not true Flamenco, jazz, Latin, Cuban or Brazilian but a fusion of styles, sometimes combined together
simultaneously without worrying about what particular rules that go with each style." Russ says there is a "Latin/rumba
base" to all his songs but each unique in its own way. He saw a opportunity to get play time for his music with Smooth
Jazz Radio embracing similar artists in his genre. Russ Hewitt's recordings, "Bajo el Sol" and "Alma Vieja," have
produced four Top 40 Smooth Jazz singles, Made the ballot in five categories for the 52nd Grammys Awards, enjoyed a
ten week stay at #1 on the Music Choice satellite cable television Smooth Jazz playlist and maintained a constant
presence on the Smooth Jazz indie charts for over 16 weeks.
Hewitt has endorsements from Godin guitars, Radial Engineering, Analysis Plus Cables, Morley Pedals, V-Picks, Voodoo
Lab, BBF pedal boards and DSL effects plus a monthly column in the guitar magazine The Sound, and continues to
extend his boundaries into soundtracks and commercial work having just recently won a Telly Award for his work on
'Parent Compass'.
