EDUCATION
B.S. in Electrical Engineering
Concentration: Robotics and Control Systems; Minor in Economics
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), Troy, NY
GPA: 3.60; Deans List 6/6 Semesters

RELEVANT COURSEWORK
Robotics I
Studied the mathematical tools and methods to model and control robotic movement in three dimensional
space with an emphasis on the use of Matlab for control algorithms.
Constructed a three-link planar robot arm and used a microcontroller to implement control algorithms to
move the arm to specified locations while avoiding obstacles.
Engineering Probability
Studied the applications of the key concepts of probability and statistics to electrical and computer
engineering problems.
Money and Banking
Studied the monetary roles of financial institutions in the economy and the trends in economic and
organizational aspects of these financial institutions.
Studied macroeconomic theory in relation to fiscal policy aimed at reducing problems of inflation and un-
employment.
Studied the mathematical tools used to analyze the trading of financial assets and analyze risk of financial
assets.
Signals and Systems
Studied the complex mathematics related to time and frequency domain analysis of signals, how systems act
on signals (i.e. low pass filters, frequency and time modulation), how to design systems for certain tasks
through signal filtering, and converting between continuous and discrete time signals.

SKILLS
Software:
Matlab, MathCad, eTap Modeling, Logic Works, Mobile Studio Desktop, Silicon Laboratories SDE, PSpice,
Microsoft Visual Studio, NX 7.5, Autodesk Inventor Professional, Microsoft Office, C++ Programming
Language, Java Programming Language and HTML Programming Languages.

PROFESSIONAL HISTORY
Engineering Intern at General Electric: Power and Water
Worked with power electrical engineers in Belfort, France in collaboration with local engineers for the
design of power plants to be constructed in Iraqi cities of Shat Al Basra, Al Diwaniyah, Akaz and Najibya.
Studied the General Electric preliminary design and mathematical foundation of a new 60 Hertz power plant
called FE60 while creating a previously non-existent computer simulated model for the FE60 plant.
Created instructional online presentations available for GE employees regarding the use of the eTap
modeling software that was used to create the FE60 model and presented it to a group of power electrical
engineers.
Engineering Intern at Mann Wireless Ltd.
Assisted Engineering Project Managers at Mann Wireless in company projects involving wireless
communication and frequency analysis of cell phone products and cell phone signal amplification products.
