Student Organizations at Forbes
SkillsUSA
A national organization solely for students in technical, skilled and service careers. They develop
technical, academic, employability and leadership skills.
FBLA Future Business Leaders of America
Worldwide organization for students interested in business, computers, public speaking and
leadership. Activities include competitions, community service and leadership conferences.
TFIM The Future is Mine
Student project group sponsored by the Consortium for Public Education. Students in this
organization participate in projects throughout the tear, which culminate with a student leadership
conference.
BAMP Builders Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh
BAMP is an organizations for students in the building construction cluster. It provides students with
opportunities to get involved with local professionals in the industry as well as hands-on experiences.
FFA Future Farmers of America
FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier
leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
Students should join student organizations in order to participate in any activities
associated with the clubs listed above. Membership fee is $25/yearly and may be paid
in the form of cash/or check made payable to Forbes Road CTC. There are fundraising
opportunities to earn your membership dues.
