1. John Chapter 9 Jesus heals the man born blind.

This mans testimony led the people to want to literally seek out J esus,
and also gave the Pharisees irrefutable evidence of Jesus divine power.
a. Verses 1-3 As he passed by, he saw a man blind from birth. 2And his disciples
asked him, Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born
blind? 3Jesus answered, It was not that this man sinned, or his parents, but that
the works of God might be displayed in him.
b. Verse 8 The neighbors and those who had seen him before as a beggar were
saying, Is this not the man who used to sit and beg?
c. Verse 11-12 He answered, The man called Jesus made mud and anointed my
eyes and said to me, Go to Siloam and wash. So I went and washed and
received my sight. 12 They said to him, Where is he? He said, I do not know.

2. We know that people all around the world are suffering and struggling with the
same type of things that you did, publicly and privately.

st
Peter 5:8-9 8 Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls
around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. 9 Resist him, firm in your
faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your
brotherhood throughout the world.
b. 1 Peter Verse 4:12 Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes
upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you.

3. VERY IMPORTANT If you are nervous about sharing your testimony (like I used to
be), think about what God told us through the Prophet Isaiah in Chapter 55. Pray that
God would speak THROUGH you when you are sharing your testimony. We are sharing
our testimony for HIS glory anyways. And, we are assured that if God speaks through us
(sends his word), no matter what the immediate reaction is, we can be 110% sure that
his message accomplished exactly what He wanted it to. Think about it like physically
planting a seed for an apple tree in the dirt. You do not immediately see results, but you
have faith that the planted seed will continue to grow and eventually produce fruit. God
will take care of the rest, but we have to take the first step by allowing God to plant the
seed by sharing our testimonies with other people.

a. Isaiah 55:10 As the rain and the snow
come down from heaven,
and do not return to it
without watering the earth
and making it bud and flourish,
so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,
11
so is my word that goes out from my mouth:
It will not return to me empty,
but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
