Scientific Committee of the International Symposium PRIOCHEM, invites you to attend The 10
th
Edition, which will be
held at the headquarters ICECHIM in Romania, Bucharest, District 6, Splaiul Independenei, no. 202.
SYMPOSIUM SECTIONS:
1. Bioresources and bioproducts
2. Environment engineering and protection of cultural heritage
3. Multifunctional materials and nanocomposites
4. Petrochemistry and Chemical Engineering
5. Students section
SYMPOSIUM PROGRAMME
The scientific programme will consist of:
Plenary Conferences;
Communication sessions;
Poster Sessions;
Roundtable;
Workshops;
Visits to laboratories;
Exhibition.
Only original papers will be presented, unpublished by the date of the International Symposium PRIOCHEM.
The organizers will award the most valuable works.
The Plenary Conferences will be presented by outstanding figures of Romanian and International Chemistry.
The official language of the symposium is English. There will be no simultaneous translation.
All submitted papers will be reviewed by the Programme Committee, which reserves the right of approving or
dismissing them and deciding on the presentation format (conference or poster).
Should you be interested in participating to the symposium, please submit: an abstract of the paper you wish to
present.
Selected papers will be submitted for publication in the professional journals "Revista de chimie" and in "Materiale
plastice".
EXHIBITIONS
Companies are invited to present advertising materials and conferences outside the scientific programme.
To participate, please fully complete The Participation Form available on the site www.icechim.ro or
www.priochem.icechim.ro found at stipulated notice.
Scientific Committee accepted abstracts will be published in one volume, which will be made available to participants
at the symposium.
ABSTRACT STRUCTURE:
The abstract will be submitted as a Microsoft Office Word 2003 document, line spacing 1.5 lines, on a single A4 page
with 2.5 cm margins, Times New Roman font, without accents, from top to bottom:
The number and the name of section: 10 pts, normal text, align Right;
PAPER TITLE: uppercase, bold, 10 pts, align Center;
Full name of the author(s): with scientific qualifications or any other additions, Title Case, bold, 10 pts, align
Center. Please, underline the name of the person presenting the paper!
Full name and address of the institution: Sentence case, italic, 10 pts, align Center.
The paper abstract, including any relevant formulas/graphics: Sentence case and lowercase, normal, 12 pts, align
Justify.
References: as Footnote, with Arabic numerals as superscript, 10 pts, normal text, align Justify.
Bibliography will be written in Sentence case and lowercase, 10 pts, normal text, align Justify.
The abstract should occupy at least 3/4 of a page and a maximum of one page.
Participation Form must be completed and sent accessing the site www.priochem.icechim.ro or
http://priochem.icechim.ro/en/3.%20Registration.php
Accepted abstracts will be included in volume with ISBN, just like in the format presented by the author(s).
Attentions: The abstracts that will not comply with the above requirements will not be included in the symposiums
abstracts volume!!!
PARTICIPATION FEE 100 lei / person will be paid until the date of 30.09.2014 ICECHIM

PRIOCHEM-10", proof of payment is sent by mail/fax/e-mail or on the day of registration at Symposium Secretariat in
the days of the event.
The fee includes program and abstracts, paper/CD.
