Mr. Brians Class
Literacy
Students will be able to ask and answer questions such as who, what, when, where,
how, and why to demonstrate understanding of key details in a text.
Students will be able to write simple sentences using who, what, when, where, how,
and why to improve their writing skills.
Math
Students will demonstrate understanding of math concepts
Students will begin to understand that the three digits of a three-digit number repre-
sent the amounts of hundreds, tens, and ones
Dear Parents,
We had a very successful week one last week. Your child is busy learning about how to treat
people within our community. He/she created their class rules and are well on their way to under-
standing communities and how they function successfully.

-Attitudes: Cooperation, Tolerance
How We Organize Ourselves Central Idea: Citizens build communities.
-Activities include : Focusing on Attention, Making Good Choices, labeling our classroom
library.

tions about reading. Also, please see the Reading Log portion of the blog and have your child fill in their information.
