Dear Sofia

I read your blog post on Cardinal Timothy Dolan. My daughter, husband and I
live in NY and yes reside in his archdiocese. I have had numerous encounters
with him. Discussing and debating various Catholic issues on doctrine and
dogma, some heated, bear in mind you have two Irish micks butting heads
LOL. Solving a problem like Dolan, he is like a riddle, wrapped in a mystery,
inside an enigma. You have to understand that Dolan has liberal modernist DNA
he will not change, without the fear of God in him, he has become too arrogant
through the years. When I have had meetings with him I get that condescending
look of disdain and contempt he has for my intelligence that most liberals have
for those of conservative ideology be it politics or Catholic theology. He will
wrap that air of condescension with a charming smile to disarm you.
The serious side is that he is a pure modernist and believes in liberal Catholic
theology. He comes from the Karl Rahner, Yves Congar, Henri de Lubac and
Marie-Dominique Chenu wing of Catholicism and that makes him extremely
dangerous, not just to himself but to others spiritually, after all Jesus firmly
states in But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it
were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he
were drowned in the depth of the sea. Matthew 18:6. I have expressly pointed
that out to him respectfully, naturally his response is to shrug it off by quoting
texts of non-judgment to which I respond with the George Haydock Bible with
commentary and it states do not judge rashly even Saint Jerome and Saint
Thomas Aquinas have texts supporting judgment. It will go on and on with that
condescending smile, now bear in mind I am well educated especially in my
Catholic faith I attended Catholic parochial schools all my life, Catholic college,
two degrees one a Bachelors in Catholic Theology the other a Masters in
Political Science, so I am no country bumpkin despite what Dolan thinks. I also
believe I have a better understanding of the Catholic faith then he does and I
say that in all modesty not any kind of malice or conceit. I see you mentioned
your post where you were criticized for trying to save his soul. I say keep doing
what you are doing Sofia, do not back down one inch. Even in the revised Canon
Law 1983:
Can. 212 3 They have the right, indeed at times the duty, in keeping with their
knowledge, competence and position, to manifest to the sacred Pastors their
views on matters which concern the good of the Church. They have the right
also to make their views known to others of Christ's faithful, but in doing so
they must always respect the integrity of faith and morals, show due reverence
to the Pastors and take into account both the common good and the dignity of
individuals.
The good of the church That is your opening, Cardinal Dolans seemingly
endorsement of sodomites (the biblically correct term) in the Saint Patricks Day
parade is not in any way good for the church and you have a God given duty to
bring that out. Also the fact that he is a Grand Marshall means his association
there creates scandal for the church a mortal sin for himself. It is a tough act
Sofia you have to balance boldness and temper it with humility, not always an
easy thing to do.
Today you have many, too many Catholics that are intimidated because of a
collar, title and rank in the Catholic hierarchy ooooooh hes Cardinal, a Bishop,
a Pope who am I to challenge their authority? Their knowledge? Who we are
are people serving God, sometimes God will use the most humble of people to
confuse the proud the powerful the arrogant. Remember the miracle of the
donkey? The Donkey kneeled down in adoration of Jesus Christ in the
sacrament, the proud heretic was humbled and converted to the Catholic faith
immediately, and dont you dare back down Sofia you continue to do Gods
work no matter risk or cost.
I try to model myself after John the Baptist, he spoke out boldly he did not think
for a moment who am I to challenge King Herod, his incest his adultery, or who
am I to challenge the Scribes, Jewish Elders, Pharisees, Sadducees, no on the
contrary he spoke out boldly. Was it wrong for him to do so? Well Jesus says of
him in Matthew 11: 11:
Amen I say to you, there hath not risen among them that are born of women a
greater than John the Baptist: yet he that is the lesser in the kingdom of heaven
is greater than he.
So we must speak out boldly no matter the cost, in John the Baptists case he
was beheaded, in my case I am an outcast in my faith considered a laughing
stock sneered at by novus ordo acolytes, let them, I will pray for them and their
conversion to the true Catholic faith.
I wanted to comment on your site but could not login so I am putting this on

more thing if you want I have a document on all the stands of the Apostles,
