Fitels board of directors, on September 5, decided to issue 250 million new shares for sale to target investors at a tentative price of NT$12 per share

DoCoMo Joins WiMAX Venture, Aug 31, Wireless Week
Japans largest mobile operator NTT DoCoMo has signed on to Acca Networks WiMAX venture. Acca said it will invest 30 billion yen ($258 million)
in the estimated 72 billion yen ($620 million) project and will hold a 40% stake. DoCoMo will invest 19 billion yen ($164 million) and take a 26%
stake.

Russian Cities to Be Equipped With WiMAX By Alvarion, Sept 4, Information Week
Hundreds of schools in Russia are slated to be linked courtesy of a broadband WiMAX network provided by Alvarions BreezeMAX system. Announced
Tuesday by Alvarion, the WiMAX network is expected to be deployed in the regions of Moscow, Tambov, Tula and Vladimir. The initial phase of the
deployment is part of the Russian Federations federal program to connect hundreds of schools wirelessly.

Why is Wall Street Punishing Clearwire?, Sept 1, Information Week
It would be unethical of me to ofer stock tips in this space, so Ill just phrase this as a question: Why is Wall Street hammering Clearwire Corp.? After
reaching a high of $33.30 on July 19, the share price for the WiMAX network startup has declined 37%. And on Tuesday the stock dropped 7% on
no news whatsoever, as The Motley Fool put it.

Acca, NTT DoCoMo Tie-Up on $620 mln WiMAX Venture, Sept 1, Reuters
Japanese ADSL provider Acca Networks Co Ltd signed up NTT DoCoMo Inc to its WiMAX joint venture, tapping the mobile phone giants resources to
launch ultra high-speed wireless Internet access. Acca, which is fghting to win new subscribers to its broadband Internet access service, will invest
about 30 billion yen in the 72 billion yen ($620 million) venture and hold an over 40 percent stake. DoCoMo, Japans biggest mobile phone operator,
would take a 26 percent stake at 19 billion yen, Acca said on Friday.

Dominating mobile service provider NTT DoCoMo has announced that they would be working with broadband provider ACCA Networks to launch
ultra-fast mobile WiMAX services. The company had to enter this tie up considering the government decided to award the rights directly to

Batelco Groups Umniah Selects Airspan for Its Nationwide Mobile WiMAX Deployment in Jordan, Sept 1, CNN Money
Airspan Networks Inc., a leading worldwide provider of WiMAX and Wi-Fi based broadband wireless access networks, announced today that it has
been awarded a nationwide WiMAX deployment contract to supply the Jordanian carrier Umniah Mobile Company, a subsidiary of the Batelco
Group, with fxed and mobile WiMAX solutions. The contract was awarded to Airspan along with its distribution partner, InnoKAT.

Motorola Still Bullish on Mobile WiMAX, Sept 1, IT Web
Motorola has lost out on its opportunity to be the frst mobile WiMAX solutions provider in SA, mainly due to regulatory delays. However, it believes
demand for the mobile standard is yet to come. Until recently, Motorola boasted it was the only player that could commercially deploy the 802.16e

Imagine our surprise when we learned that Nextel in the South America region is not afliated with Sprint Nextel USA, and is a completely diferent
thing, but using the Nextel name. This started when I contacted Victor Galvis at Sprint whos coming to a WiMAX conference down here in a couple
weeks to exchange ideas about the local marketplace and how Nextel could fll certain niches in the marketplace that are not well served by the
incumbent local loop monopoly of Telecom and Telefonica.

Samsung Shows off 4G Mobile Broadband, Sept 3, NineMSN
Just as road warriors are getting used to HSDPA-based data services with speeds of around a megabit per second, technology ofering a 100-fold
increase has already been developed.
Electronics giant Samsung raised eyebrows at the recent 4G Forum in Korea when it demonstrated a 4G technology capable of delivering 100
megabits per second to mobile users. The company says a fxed version of the technology will be able to shunt bits through at speeds of a gigabit

Redline, Siemens Partner for WiMAX, Sept 2, Wireless Week
Redline Communications and Siemens Home and Ofce Communication Devices unit have announced private testing to verify interoperability
between Redline and Siemens WiMAX Forum Certifed products. The testing is part of the Redline Ecosystem Verifcation (REV) program designed to
accelerate the deployment of interoperable WiMAX networks. The success of WiMAX depends on the ability of carriers to deliver the services their

TransTelecom Gets WiMAX Frequencies, Sept 4, TeleGeography
Russian long-distance operator TransTelecom has been awarded 3.5GHz and 5.7GHz spectrum which it intends to use to ofer wireless broadband

As City-Wide WiFi Fall Apart, An Opening For WiMAX, Sept 3, 24/7 Wall St.
As the municipal WiFi business at Earthlink has come under fnancial pressure, the future of city-wide wireless projects is in trouble. ELNK shares
are down over 20% in the last two year, even after a recent run-up due to cost cuts at the company. ELNK was willing to bank on a program where
