1.0 INTRODUCTION
Education as a universal currency everywhere holds the same value. And
it has never delivered less of its benefits, especially when it is adequately
appropriated.
Nevertheless in this technologically infested society, teens find it difficult
and less of concern to engage in profitable academic exercise. It was in response
to this vicious circle that Interspeeches International, Inc. a need driven
organisation thats interested in unlocking the potentials of teens, partnered with
the Agape Force Ministry, an arm of CGMi, to hold the Maiden Edition of the
SmartKids Spelling Bee (SKSB). The SKSB is an exclusive trademark of
Interspeeches International, Inc. in its drive to celebrate kids with uncommon
intelligence and passion for academic excellence.
2.0 PROJECT ACTIVATION
The AFM Ejiyere Zonal President, Raphael A. Oboh, signed interest for
the SKSB Project when it was introduced to him. Mr. Raphel after consulting
with the program committee agreed to sponsor the Project. Though the project
faced some challenges as to proper communication between the SKSB Project
Team and the AFM Camp Committee. Nevertheless these setbacks didnt do
much harm to project with the tremendous success that was recorded.
The AFM Ejiyere Camp which was held at the James Wetch Grammar
School, Emevor, Ughelli, Delta State, Nigeria. The program lasted for a week,
beginning Monday 25
th
August through 1
st
Sept. 2014 with the SKSB taking the
fifth day (Saturday 30
th
August, 2014) of the program.
A total of 27 teenagers registered for the Bee, on the basis of branches.
And wasnt evenly distributed based on Provinces.
SKSB Executive Director, Mrs. Jane Seth Agbarah, who holds a B.A in
French from the prestigious Covenant University, Ota Nigeria., doubled as the
Chief Pronouncer for this particular Project. And Kelvin Osigbmen was
nominated as the Time Judge.

3.0 BEE DAY
The SKSB Team arrived Camp at 4:30pm, and the project kick-off at
about 5pm with 27contestants after a brief registration session and reading of
the rules by the Chief Pronouncer.
The bee featured 9 High Schools, 2 Junior and 8 undergraduate students,
watched under the cover of over 400 audiences and in the close eye of the
VOA Cameras. The bee resulted into 13rounds rounds. The first and second
round followed the order of the tags. But at the third rounds, as fall-off was
recorded it was now in the order of the outstanding tags.
The teens exhausted over 500 words. The first round was a consolation
and so was free for all. Therefore there was no elimination. Nevertheless
following the last three (3) standing, the bee became intense as to determine the
spellebrity as teens beat the imagination of the judges. The winning word was
spelt by a 16years old High School student Ruth Davidson of Odu Province
(Potters House), as she spelt the word, eminent with a careful knowledge of
homophones.
Each round sustains the interest of the audience with clapping and cheers.
However those who were eliminated express deep pains with tears and
emotional feelings, but promise themselves to come back next season.

4.0 PROJECT IMPACT
Spelling for fun is a profitable adventure. Kids with cold passion for
academic excellence, saw a great deal of reasons to opt for change and join a
number of their friends in the next edition, and were enthusiastic to make the
commitment.
5.0 OBSERVATIONS
1. The Prizes are to be upgraded come next edition.
2. The interview session wasnt complete and some important session of
the program wasnt captured.
3. The time was too short for the program.

6.0 CONCLUSION
Christian teens are the largest percent target of Satan, as he presumes
terror for his kingdom, if they are allowed to grow in the hand of the Lord.
Agape Camp was a great opportunity for teens to fashion their lives within the
claws of the Lord, our God, His Purpose and Will. As the teens leave the Camp
to their various destinations, they ever wish for another event of this amazing
class, The Complete You.

Holes in the Middle

The Survivors
They were once afraid. Coming alive from a building were
tens of your friends were crashed, is an incredible story.
These ones survived some test of mettle of Words, every
one of them with one desire to enter into the SKSB Hall of
Fame. But fate and refined confidence set them apart.

Rewarding Excellence

IFEANYI Precious left the stage with smiles, as he
saw his Bronze Medals gradually placed about his
neck. He could barely anticipate the reward of
excellence. But it was worthy of his performance,
leaving his colleagues to race it out.

Turning Point
Unbelievable! It was against the belief of team that He mounted the podium,
with trace back to this life in the past and with little or no seriousness. Nobody
would have believed He would have made it down the Second Place. But GIFT
against all odds made his team understand that life is a choice. For once in his
life he discovered that good stories can be written about him. Is in indeed an
incredible story for downtown kid who has not tasted the intellectual exercise
for over 3years, dropping in its Juniors to survive in the midst of
Undergraduates. It was a surprise pack when He was left with the 17years old
Ruth, though he missed the deceptive word, Recipe as he spelt, recipy
making a total of 60points as the Silver Medal winner. OYIBO Ovie Gift is an
exceptional boy with a bright future, a very high IQ, for academic excellence. In
fact Ovie can do anything worthwhile with his life. And only Him can do it
better.

I didnt Believe It!
I thought, was the testament of many that were interviewed. It still seems like a
dream for many concerning the life changing story of Ovie. But Ovies story has
given many teenagers, the hope in Christ. Indeed No Jesus, No SWAG.
Everything we ever wish to be is in Christ. Continue reading

THE HIGHPOINT
16years Ruth DAVIDSON showed great composure from the beginning of
the bee to the end. Her unexplainable excitement is captured whenever
she approached the microphone. One notable thing about this kid
according to AFM Zonal President is that she spells for fun and she is
exceptionally brilliant, without much carefulness with her supersmart
nature emerged the Champion of the SKSB and became the first kid to
enter into the SKSB Hall of Fame and the SKSB Spellebrity by spelling
the winning word, eminent making her to have a total of 65points. She
never failed any of the words. Ruth victory earned her Province, UDU,
winner of the Bee , while Ruth have a Gold Medal about her neck as a
mark of her distinctive ability in getting through words with
understanding.

Project Team Report
Every event organised has set
