Twenty-Third Sunday in Ordinary Time
LISTENING! It sounds so easy, but is so often very difficult. Our first reaction might be to advise,
correct, or direct. That isnt listening! Listening cements relationships, develops trust, and conveys love
and understanding. It also allows us to discover Gods presence in the encounter, for Christ tells us,
Wherever two or three are gathered in my name, there I am in their midst.
322 Holy Hours were kept with Our Lord in Eucharistic Adoration last week. Open
hours in need of an adorer or two are; Sunday noon till one pm. and Wednesdays
2- 3 pm. Any help would be much appreciated. Please call Judy Soltis at 330-212-
0926 if you are interested.

THINK is there someone in your life who might be interested in learning about Catholicism? Someone
perhaps who criticizes things Catholic? Or someone who is unchurched but may be hungering for
more? Invite him/her to learn about the Faith you love. Make an appointment with Karen to learn
more about the RCIA process. The first session for 2014-2015 begins Monday, September 8, at 7:00 pm
in the St. Augustine Rectory. Please call Karen at 330-745-0011 x 18.
RCIA NEEDS: The RCIA begins a new year of sessions on Monday, September 8. We meet almost every
week through the end of April. As part of St. Augustine hospitality, refreshments are served. The team
provides the beverages and paper products. We try not to ask those attending to bring goodies, at least
through December. Therefore, would you be willing to provide a snack one week? Items may be left at
the Rectory during the day or in the evening until 6:30. To learn more or to volunteer, please call Karen
at 745-0011 x 18. Thank you.
