Develop an Attitude of
Gratitude
Lets face it, we are ungrateful creatures, always running after what we dont
have and never taking the time to appreciate and be grateful for what we DO
have.

Developing an attitude of gratitude or being grateful for what we DO have is
something that can transform your life.

It helps you see life in a new light and strengthen your faith.

The things you are grateful for, increases-be it money, friends, good things or
self confidence.

So if you can feel grateful about your current level of self confidence, it will
automatically start your journey towards achieving more and more self
confidence over time. Gratitude is an art and you have to master it to reap its
benefits.

Start NOW. Shall we?

Close your eyes, take 3 deep breaths and feel grateful for who you are, wherever
you are and what ever level of self confidence you are at. (Remember what I
told you in the beginning? You are BORN with it.)

FIRST-When you go to bed.

SECOND-When you wake up in the morning.

Why?

Because your subconscious mind is most active and receptive to your thoughts
and feelings at these times. You just need to close your eyes and FEEL grateful
for the confidence you have.

It may look artificial or difficult in the beginning (That little negative voice in your
head might say- oh, come on! What the hell you are doing, how can you
become self confident like this?)

Do yourself a favor-slap that little negative voice REALLY hard in the face and
ask it to JUST SHUT UP for a while.

The feeling of being grateful for your current level of self confidence will help
you shift focus from the lack of it to having it.

Remember-just like anything else, an attitude of gratitude can be developed
with practice and patience.

You will go off track many times, but it will become easier over time. And then a
time comes when it becomes natural to you.

The more you feel grateful for it the more self confident you become.

Stop Hanging Out With
Negative People
We all know those bastards who are born negative-constantly looking for the
half empty glasses everywhere.

If the weather is bad-its bad and if it is good-guess what? It is STILL bad for
them.

Hanging out with negative people can RUIN your life.

What to do if those bastards happen to be your classmates, family members or
relatives?

Should you slap them right in their faces and tell them to fuck off?

NO, theres no need to do this.

Just start making a distance and they will fade away gradually.

HOW?

Heres the answer.








Take a piece of paper and write down names of your family members, neighbors,
friends, relatives and anyone you come in contact with on a regular basis.

(Having a chat with those ladies and gentlemen at social gatherings or kitty
parties once in a while will keep you updated about what wrong is happening in
the world-so dont worry about sending them to Mars.)

When you are done, just close your eyes and then

RELAX!

Just think.

What comes to your mind when you think about Mr. A?

Do you feel happy, uplifted, encouraged, on top of the world or do you feel mind
fucked, sad or awful because thats what his presence does to you?

If what I just said is true, then Mr. A is negative and you better stay away from
him.

Now take a look at Mr. B. How do you feel when you talk to him?

Is he cheerful, have a solution oriented approach and takes everything as a
challenge, no matter how bad things appear? (Even if his mother-in-law is
coming to stay with them )

If you just answered-YES! Then you should probably start hanging out with Mr. B
more often.

The more you hang out with him or people like him, the more you WILL become
like him/them (positive, charming, solution oriented and awesome).

Keep on doing this with all the names in the list till you reach in the end.

Now, make a fresh list with names of all the positive people and eliminate all the
negative ones.

This list is not important.

It is SUPER DUPER IMPORTANT.

Take a very good look at this list. These people are the GEMS of your life and
you MUST preserve them.

Be Yourself
How many times did you say YES when you wanted to say NO?

How many times you did not wear your favorite dress because you thought
some people might not like that?

How many times you were not YOURSELF?

You did all that because you wanted to be accepted and approved by the
society.

This tendency of not being yourself is taking away your self confidence.

There are times when you start doubting your worthiness because you are not
getting any success or recognition per se. You feel shaken and (may be) stupid
for being authentic. So you decide unconsciously that its no good being yourself
and you should imitate someone in order to become a go getter, have money,
ride the bike you crave for and to have the girl of your dreams.

HANG ON!!!

Remember-you are unique, Universe has made you in all its glory. There are
words only YOU can speak, there are songs only YOU can sing, there are
missions only YOU can accomplish.

You are not here by chance.

This universe loves you, cares about you, thats why you are here.

You have been sent here to fulfill your life purpose and it is DUTY to find out
your true path.

No other person in this world can become you. You have your own Individual
personality traits which makes you You!

Sharpen Your Talents
Every person on this planet is talented and you are no exception. (What? ME?
TALENTED?)

YES! YES! YES! You ARE talented!

The people whom we call successful are those who have recognized their talents
and working regularly to sharpen them.

Do you know what talents you have?

I know you have been told by almost everyone that you are not talented. (Can
you recall those times when your well wishers (well wishers-oh! really?) told you
that you are not as talented as you think.

Let me ask you something-if you will not accept and declare that you are
talented then who will? (Accepting that you are talented is the first step towards
sharpening your talents)

Are you hoping that someday, the sky will be kind to you and a hot babe will
land in your lap, will give you a really HOT kiss and whisper in your ear- hey
hottie, you know what? You are talented.

(Ok, dont get carried away with that KISS part)

That is not going to happen ever.

Brain storm a little and figure out what talents you have and make a list of all of
them on paper. List every talent. Dont leave anything just because you think it is
not that important.

For example-you might be talented enough to make others laugh, and have been
doing this since child hood.

Now, as you have recognized it, its time to sharpen it. (Stand up comedians
makes lots of money and who knows, that kiss part may come true.)

Once you have the list ready, decide which talent or talents you want to work
on?

The diamonds you see in the market are not the raw ones. They are polished
and cultured. Likewise, you need to sharpen your talents to market them and
make money.

Find out how you can sharpen your talents, what is needed to make yourself
more presentable and special?

Remember-it is not good enough to be talented. You have to show the world
what you have got (No, no, not that.)

Keep polishing yourself. Read books, surf the internet, ask friends, ask experts,
listen to radio interviews, watch television and do something every day to
sharpen your talents.

you have to do is wake up.

Stay Focused On Your
Strengths
You have been taught not to focus on your strengths and always work on your
weaknesses instead. If you are to become successful, you need to eliminate your
weaknesses. Right?


WRONG!

THINGS DONT WORK THAT WAY.

Remember a simple rule-whatever you focus on-grows. And this is true about
your strengths and weaknesses too.

The more you focus on throwing out your weaknesses out of the window-the
weaker you shall become.

Focus on your strengths instead and you will have strong STRENGTHS.

Focus on your weaknesses and you will have strong WEAKNESSES.

Forget about what others say. Keep focusing, stay grateful and find out more
and more ways to strengthen your strengths.

This is a sure shot way to boost your self confidence in no time.

Get Out of Your Comfort
Zone
When I was in school, I always dreaded speaking on the stage.

I had once participated in a group song and thats it. After that I made sure my
teacher could not find me in the classroom to participate in any thing related to
stage; be it debate, speech or an act. (I used to hide in the last row.)

I did not want to come out of my comfort zone because I felt safe and secure
there but it was costing me self esteem and confidence.

Then a day came when I decided to get out of my comfort zone. I made up my
mind to speak in front of 55 students in an engineering college. (You can
imagine what kind of situation I was in-a shy guy who had never spoken in front
of even 2 students in his school time was supposed to speak in front of 55
students. I had no clue as to what will I speak and HOW?)

And when the time came-I was perspiring, my mouth was dry and I was
clueless.

BUT!

I was determined.

First two-three days were nightmarish.

But here comes the fourth day and

Things started turning smooth. That was the first day when I breathe outside the
prison-a prison I had created for myself-My comfort zone.

We all have our comfort zones. We function and operate from there and dont
want to come out coz that feels awkward and uncomfortable.

But getting out of your comfort zone is the ONLY way to grow.

You need to break the walls of that self created prison and come out in fresh air.

Remember, it is by stretching and challenging ourselves that we grow.

In order to become self confident, you need to do something that you have
never done before-it will shake your whole world but its worth the effort.

Start identifying your comfort zones and then deliberately stretch yourself up.

The discomfort and nervousness youll encounter in the beginning is something
you cannot and should not avoid. These are suppressed emotions and you must
experience them so they can get released.

Suppose your dream is to become a successful public speaker but the very idea
of speaking in public makes you stressful, you are not sure what will you speak
and how you will convey your message.

Sometimes it can alter your life if you could take a risk - risk to stand up in front
of a group of people to speak-even if you are clueless about what to speak.

Why?

Because when you trap yourself in a situation like this, you are bound to speak
something, even one or two lines will give you courage and confidence to speak
in front of more and more people over a period of time (If you practice enough)

Getting it right will take time but dont keep waiting for the right time, right place
or right topic.

Just go out and create something for yourself-SPEAK!

When you stretch your comfort zone, you get a kind of satisfaction that you can
never experience otherwise.

Have Faith in Yourself
Faith is one of the most powerful things in the world.

It can move mountains and solve every mystery.

Having faith in yourself is quite important if you want to become self confident.

Faith helps you take on challenges and turn obstacles into stepping stones.

Faith helps you keep going.

Having faith makes anything and everything possible.

Do WHATEVER you can to strengthen your faith.

An excellent way to do this is to remind yourself daily that you are a talented and
gifted person.

Sit for 5 minutes in a comfortable position, close your eyes and affirm with
conviction I have faith in myself. I can do whatever I wish. Repeat this as
many times as you like.

Again, it will take time but persist and keep moving. After some days youll start
feeling your faith growing and expanding.

I know what you are thinking Oh! Come on! You dont know what I am
going through, otherwise you wouldnt be talking like this; my case-its
hopeless.

Yeah, sometimes we feel only OUR life is full of challenges and that bastard,
good for nothing neighbor of ours is dating the hottest girls on the earth in
Hawaii.

It might look like this but if you see it, everyone faces challenges in their lives.

I also had faced challenges in my life. There was a time when I could not eat
food for three days straight because I had no money.

But I had one thing-FAITH.

Faith in good, faith in myself and faith in the Universe- it was my faith that gave
me power to move forward in life.

Find out how others faced challenges and DID it.

Read uplifting books and articles, browse the internet, participate in forums, ask
questions and learn what other people went though and how they survived
tough times.

Ask For Help
Ask for help? Are you fucking out of you mind?

People will laugh at me. They will say oh! Look at this looser, he doesnt even
know THIS.

Ok, let me ask you something.

Is not asking for help doing you any good?

Have you achieved what you wanted to?

Are you satisfied?

Are you happy?

Are you feeling a sense of content and pride?

NO! (Did I say it right?)

We dont ask for help because for us, asking for help is a sign of weakness and
we better not give people a chance to laugh at us.

Remember-you are NOT god.

You NEED a little help, a few words of encouragement and a little inspiration to
achieve your goals and there is NOTHING wrong in it.

Not willing to ask for help could be the biggest handicap in achieving a high
degree of self confidence.

Have faith in yourself, believe that you are good enough to do what ever you put
your mind to, but at the same time also keep yourself open for help and
assistance.

A little help can clear your confusions, give you emotional or moral support and
boost your confidence.

Theres one more reason why we dont ask for help-we are afraid that we might
not get it.

Well, you can never be sure until you ask. Find out who is the right person, right
contact or reference for the help you are looking for and then simply ask for
help.

You are not alone in this world struggling to make his way. Every one has
suffered in life at some point of time or the other.

Asking for help can make your journey a little more hopeful and easier.

There is help available for almost everything-exercise, smoking, self confidence,
self esteem, relationships, personal development and anything else you can think
of.

Just make a move and youll be amazed at the results.

Having a dream is important, because it gives you something to live for, but
what equally important is, taking action to make your dreams come true.

Often times you might focus more on preparation and getting ready and
take very little or no action to materialize your dreams. This is one of the major
pitfalls on the path of personal development.

Theres a simple solution to this-STOP THINKING, START DOING. (In other
words-Lights, CameraAction!)

Some times you dont take action because you fear making mistakes.

Mistakes are a part of life and you learn only when you make mistakes.

Just take care NOT to repeat them, always make new ones.

There will be times when you wont be able to see what lies ahead but dont let it
stop you from taking action.

Ask for feedback from your friends, family members and business associates.
See what you missed, revise your plan of action and then-TAKE ACTION AGAIN.

Life is kinda on-the-job-training.

You learn something.

You apply that.

You evaluate the results and keep on taking action till you get it right.

Read Books (Obviously-the
Good Ones)
Reading is fun, entertaining and educating.

Developing reading habit is crucial for the self confidence and success you are
seeking.

The more informed and knowledgeable you are, the more confident youll be.

Lets take an example.

Mr. A and Mr. B work in the same office and both have been asked to prepare
the annual report, which is to be presented in the upcoming meeting.

Mr. A has somehow prepared the report, but, he is not clear about the facts.

On the other hand, Mr. B has read and researched thoroughly. He is clear about
everything included in the report and also has facts and figures to support him.

Who do you think will be more confident-Yes! You are right!

Mr. B.

So here comes the advice part.

Read as many good books as you can; not just related to your job or
Career, but other fields as well. Read books on marketing, accounting,
spirituality, metaphysics, investing, banking, business or whatever interests you.


Reading books from diverse areas gives you a wider and more open perspective
which helps you survive those social debates. (Its important because you need
to impress that HOT girl.)

Make it a habit to carry a book around so you can utilize your unproductive time.

Unproductive time is the time you need to spend on waiting while visiting doctor,
getting you car serviced, commuting by public transport or at the bank.

Reading at such times is a powerful strategy to increase your knowledge in very
short span of time.

Become member of a good library. A library offers wide range of books to choose
from. This way you can read a lot without spending much money.

over the man who can't read them.

Organize Your Life
A clean and organized life gives you a sense of control and power.

A workspace or home that is clean, tidy and organized shows that you are well
organized in your thoughts and actions.

On the other hand a cluttered and disorganized life shows lack of orderliness and
clarity.

It keeps you in constant anxiety and tension.

HOW?

Suppose you need to finish off a project within 3 days and you remember having
a book at home that can help but when you try to locate it; you can't even
remember where it is.

This will cause stress and tension which in turn will affect your productivity.

You will end up getting frustrated and your self confidence will be shaken!

Clutter keeps you in constant debt and tension. When you cant find something
that you know is there, what will you do? You will buy it again and that would
just waste your money.

In the first place, before you buy ANYTHING new, ask yourself-do I really need
this?

Cant I do without this?

Look at the things at home-in your cupboards, closets, cars dashboard and ask
yourself-Have I used this item in the last 1 year?

If the answer is NO, chances are that you will not use it in the future.

Do yourself a favorsell it, give it or throw it away.

Any thing that is broken, outdated or neglected is CLUTTER. (It shows that it has
no use for you anymore and should be discarded)

Get rid of all such things and dont let clutter gather around you. When you buy
one item, make sure you sell, give or throw away two similar items.

Make this a lifelong habit and you can keep you life simple, clean and organized
which in turn will boost your self confidence.

TIP THIRTEEN
Groom Yourself
Remember that old saying You never get a second chance to make the first
impression?

Personal grooming is something you should not overlook because it is crucial for
your success; it is a part of Personal Branding.

In order to boost self confidence, its important to take very good care of
yourself.

A well groomed person is more likely to feel good, uplifted and charged at all
times.

People who are underweight or overweight are more prone to low self
confidence and can develop a negative self image.

Your body is your greatest asset and you should do whatever you can to keep it
fit. (A word of caution- Dont run after getting an ideal shape because it exists in
movies, television and magazines only.)

If you dont feel comfortable in your skin, do something about it-join a yoga
class, start working out at gym, start jogging, eat healthy food and drink lots of
water.

Do whatever makes you feel good about yourself.

Take bath daily-at least once.

Make sure your clothes are properly ironed and appropriate for the meeting,
lunch, dinner, social-get-together or what ever occasion it happens to be.
(Wearing your hottest red dress on a funeral is surely not the brightest idea)

Always maintain a nice hair cut, properly cut nails, a clean shaven face/trimmed
beard and clean clothes-all these things make a difference in your physical
appearance.

Deodorants.

Deodorants??? Oh! Come on, why should I use them. They are for the people
who stink. (Dont lie, I am dying from that hell under your arms, use some deo-
please, please, please.)

Honor Your Word
Keeping the promise is more important than making one.

It can have HUGE impact on your self confidence.

A person who honors his word is more likely to earn trust and goodwill of people
and these two things are very important.

Many times we make promises just to get away from the current situation
(remember you promised your girl friend that nice gold chain just to keep her
mouth SHUT) but not keeping your promise can have a negative impact on your
self esteem and confidence.

MAKE PROMISE ONLY IF YOU INTEND TO KEEP IT.

Before you make ANY promise to ANYONE-your classmates, spouse, kids, family
members, neighbors or business associates, think if you are really interested in
keeping it or are you doing it to avoid something.

If, for some reason, there would be a delay or complication in keeping your
word, let the other person know it, don't let him wondering or guessing about
what happened-why you didnt show up for that really important business
meeting and why was your phone unreachable or worse-switched off!

Make honoring your word a priority.

When you honor your word, it sends a message to your subconscious mind that
you take yourself seriously and when YOU take yourself seriously-OTHERS are
bound to do the same.

Master the Internet

World Wide Web.

In other words-THE INTERNET.

There is awful lot of useful (and not so useful) information you can ever find and
consume on the internet. (Not to mention those HOT sites you surf privately)

A couple years back, internet used to be a luxury but over a period of time things
have changed and today we can not even imagine living without the internet.

Being internet savvy has become synonymous to being successful.

Yet, there are many people who are not internet savvy, I hope you are not one
of them. Internet can help you about almost everything-books, automobiles,
movies, songs, poems, help, tips, expert views, eBooks and what not?

It depends upon how good you are at finding what you are looking for in the
vast sea of information and knowledge.

In other words-how good you are at phrasing keywords.

If you feel you are not that good at using internet, dont worry.

Practice and determination will help you master it.

Back in 1996 when I first went to an internet caf, I was clueless about where to
click on the email to open it. (Sounds funny? Yeah, I know but its true)

The next day when I needed to open my email again, I was planning to go to
the same cyber caf which was around 7 kilometers from my home.

But that was past, now I write articles and eBooks and can call myself somewhat
internet savvy.

How did I do that?

I used a 3 step wonder formula

If I can do that, so can you.

Another thing to learn is to increase your typing speed.

Good typing speed can help you finish tasks faster and get more done in less
time. If you know how to type without looking at the keyboard, good! If not,
learn how to.

There are many typing software available online-both free and paid. Find out
which one is right for you and start practicing TODAY.

Also, learn how you can take full advantage of your email.

Every email service provider keeps on improving features and services to provide
a better experience for its users.

Normally, we use only 5-10 percent of our email features, but if explored a little
more, you surely can make great use of your email account.

Read forums, ask online, get help from more experienced users and apply what
you learnt.


Nowadays, anyone who cannot speak English and is incapable
of using the Internet is regarded as backward.

Format and Reprogram
Your Internal Hard Drive
There was a time when I was passing through a bad phase in my life and could
not understand what was happening.

I consulted my hypnotherapist and she told me Right now, your mind is like a
computers hard drive full of negative programs, If you want to change your life,
you need to format this hard drive (erase the negative programs) and reprogram
it (install positive programs).

Well, I did take her advice seriously and started reprogramming my mind. The
results were significant.

You can achieve the level of self confidence you desire by reprogramming your
mind with the help of hypnosis and self hypnosis. Its doable and simple.

Before we move further, lets have a look at how mind functions?

The mind has two parts-Conscious mind and Subconscious mind.

Conscious Mind

Conscious mind helps you perform routine tasks such as eating, bathing, driving,
talking, solving problems, writing etc.

It does not accept anything which is not in line with its beliefs.

It always examines every thought or idea before letting that in.

Subconscious Mind
This is the deeper part of your mind which stores memories, habits and beliefs.

If subconscious mind is full of doubt and negative thought patterns, then no
matter how hard you try, youll always experience difficulty in achieving your
goals.

Self hypnosis can help you remove the doubts and transform the negative
thought patterns into positive ones by installing positive suggestions called
affirmations.

An affirmation is a positive statement in present tense.

For example your affirmation could be My confidence is boosting day by day or
I am good enough to do whatever I wish.

Heres how to do it.

Get yourself in a relaxed position, sit in an armchair or lie down comfortably.

Close your eyes. Take 3 deep breaths and imagine that all the stresses and
tensions are going out from your body and you are inhaling positive energy.

Let yourself relax and start counting 10 to 0 backwards.

Say - 10, 9, 8 and so on...with each decreasing number feel that you are
becoming more and more relaxed, going deeper down in your mind and entering
into a trance. (Trance is a word used for the condition where your conscious
mind is less active and subconscious mind is alert and fully awake)

By the time you reach 0 you will be completely relaxed and will be in deep
trance.

Now is the time to speak your affirmation. Speak your affirmation in your mind 3,
7 or 21 times.

Why 3, 7 or 21 times?

Because the subconscious mind respond favorably to these numbers.

Remember to speak your affirmation with feeling and conviction. Once you are
done with your affirmation, stay with it and feel that with each breath the
affirmation is sinking deeper in your mind.

When you feel complete and whole, start counting 0 to 10 to come out of the
trance.

Say 0, 1, 2...345.6 and so on till you reach 10. With each number feel that
you are coming back to your waking state and open your eyes on 10.

Do this for 21 days straight and see your self confidence boosting like anything.

Celebrate Your Hits
Oh my god! There are so many things to do. I need to do this and that and yes,
that too and wait..How can I forget that one?

Are you trapped in a mental rut where all you could see is-the things you have
MISSED so far?

Hang on!

You just need to change your focus-start acknowledging and appreciating the
things you have HIT already.

Heres how?

Take a note book and list your top 10 HITS-the things you have completed, the
missions you have accomplished, the nuts you have cracked.

In the beginning youll have a difficult time doing this because you have been
trained not to think about YOUR accomplishments, YOUR ideas, YOUR dreams
but if you keep trying-sooner or later youll find your mind opening up.

Making this list will give you a sense of pride and satisfaction. It will make you
feel like an action hero-a hero who saves the earth. (And this feeling is important
coz that will act as a catalyst to boost your self confidence.)

When you have your list ready, start using it as a reminder that you are a
winner.

Before you retire to bed, sit for some quiet reflection. Try to recall what went
right for you, what is it that can be called a HIT and try to include everything-
even the small HITS are equally important.

Did you reach office on time-its a HIT.

Did you complete your project before the deadline-its a HIT.

Did you keep your cool during that nasty traffic jam-its a HIT.

Did you handle that annoying client with patience-its a HIT.

Make sure you go through every single event in your mind and make a rough list
of all your HITS.

You can list your HITS on paper as well.

Now take a good look at this list and say to yourself I celebrate my HITS for
today. Its been a great day and I hope to achieve more HITS tomorrow.

Dont just say this, FEEL it and stay with that feeling for as long as you like. This
small exercise can make a BIG difference.









Real life isnt always going to be perfect or go our way, but
the recurring acknowledgement of what is working in our lives
can help us not only to survive but surmount our difficulties.

Make Your Own Decisions
Dont let any one else make decisions for you. Decision making power is
something that you should always keep in YOUR hands.

Making your own decisions comes with a price tag-RESPONSIBILITY.

When some one else make decisions for you, you feel kind of good, because it
takes away responsibility off your shoulders but at the same time, it also takes
away something invaluable-FREEDOM!
It gives relief to put your gun on some one elses shoulders, but sabotages your
self confidence.

Freedom and responsibility is what makes you confident-confident about your
ability and strengths.

It gives you courage to live life on YOUR terms.

Take charge of your life NOW-make decisions for yourself.

You may falter in the beginning but experience will make you wiser. Once you
know how it feels to have the power to make your own decisions, youll never
want some one else to make decisions for you.
You must have control of the authorship of your own
destiny. The pen that writes your life story must be held in

Get Inspired With Movies
Movies are not only a good source of entertainment and pleasure; they also have
the power to inspire.

inspiring movies.

Meditate
Your mind is the greatest tool ever devised, if used properly it can take you to
new heights of bliss, joy and wonder.

In order to become confident and successful, you need to control your mind.

Consider this-you have entered a car showroom and asked the salesperson to
show you some nice cars.

The salesperson walks you over to two awesome looking cars-both are identical.
He tells you that these two are the best cars in the world.

CAR A will always remain under your control, itll turn left or right whenever you
want. It has all the luxuries you can possibly imagine.

Car B has same features and luxuries but has one flaw-it will not remain under
your control, it turns left when IT wants to, it runs when it wants to, it stops
when it wants to. It is totally independent.

Which one you would buy?

Let ME answer this question-You will buy any car in the world but definitely not
Car B, because it is dangerous, it takes you where IT wants to go.

Same is the case with your mind, it is not under YOUR control, it is thinking
whenever it wants, and it is making you do things you never wanted and
stopping you from doing things you LOVE. In other words you have mistakenly
bought Car B.

Mediation is the process of gaining control over your mind so you can use it to
your advantage.

To get a glimpse of what mediation is-sit in a comfortable and relaxed position
with your eyes closed, be aware of your surroundings, the voices outside the

room, the tingling sensation in your arms, the sound of air conditioner, the
barking of dog in the street or anything that is there.

Now focus on your breathing for some time, itll help you relax. Start watching
your thoughts-dont judge them, dont call them good or bad.

Just watch. Youll experience something profound-you are NOT your mind. You
are the WATCHER.

MEDITATION IS THE PROCESS OF WATCHING YOUR THOUGHTS WITHOUT
JUDGING THEM.

Initially it will be difficult, but over a period of time you shall be able to watch
your thoughts with ease.

After some more practice you shall be able to CHOOSE your thoughts. You shall
be able to replace negative thoughts with positive ones.

And after some years you shall be able to CHOOSE whether you want to operate
through mind or directly from your consciousness.

When you can CHOOSE, you have all the power available in the world.

That is the sole purpose of meditation, to make you the master of your mind.









Every time you don't follow your inner guidance, you feel a
loss of energy, loss of power, a sense of spiritual deadness.

Fake It Till You Make It

Here is a special technique to help you become more self confident.

Your mind has a unique characteristic; it can not differentiate between reality
and imagination.

Have you noticed that when you think about happy moments spent with a friend
your start feeling happy and joyful, even when its a thing of past.

When you are imagining and feeling happy, your mind takes it for real and you
start experiencing same feelings again. You can use this to your advantage.

Start pretending to yourself that you are ALREADY self confident.

With time and patience you shall be successful in making an impression on your
mind that you have become self confident.

Walk tall, make eye contact with people, speak with clarity and confidence (even
if you dont feel confident yet) and soon youll see your self confidence boosting.

When you feel low, just take 3 deep breaths and remind yourself that you ARE
self confident.

There might be times when youll feel like nothing is working for you and you will
struggle to keep up. Dont worry thats ok, it is part of the game.

The key is to keep learning, practicing and never giving up.
