Maldives Tourism Development Corporation Plc invites enthusiastic and energetic Maldivians willing to work for the
following post.

POST: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
WORK SITE: MTDC Head Office, Male, Maldives
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and utilize forward-looking, predictive models and activity-based financial analyses to provide insight into
the organizations operations and business plans.
Coordinate the development and monitoring of budgets.
Develop financial business plans and forecasts.
Engage the relevant sub-committee of the board of directors to develop short-, medium-, and long-term financial
plans and projections.
Represent the company to financial partners, including financial institutions, investors, and Auditors etc.
Oversee the Accounting and Finance Department to ensure proper maintenance of all accounting systems and
function and ensure maintenance of appropriate internal controls and financial procedures.
Ensure timeliness, accuracy, and usefulness of financial and management reporting for the management and the
board of directors; oversee the preparation and communication of monthly, Quarterly and annual financial
statements.
Ensure legal and regulatory compliance regarding all financial functions and promotes high ethical standards.

QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE & OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Must be a qualified member of ACA/ACCA /CIMA or another internationally reputed chartered accountancy body.
At least five years experience as CFO or equivalent, preferably in reputable organization with a budget of at least
$10 million.
Experience in a senior financial-management role, partnering with executive staff, resulting in the development
and implementation of creative financial management strategies.
The successful candidate must be able to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize
employee performance; and must have complete knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Demonstrated leadership ability, team management, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills, plus excellent organization skills.
Proven record of high integrity and ethical standards

REMUNERATION: Negotiable depending on qualification and experience.
