it is career astrology, marriage astrology or financial astrology the nature of the zodiac sign falling in first
house of your natal birth chart will always have a reasonable say in this regard. Some of the basic features
and general traits of people born under Gemini ascendant are mentioned below.
Gemini Ascendant (Mithuna Lagna): If you are born in Gemini Ascendant; you are very likely to be slim
and/or soft in physique. You may have prominent nose, specifically if the Mercury and/or Moon are also
placed in Airy zodiac sign. You may have beautiful and attractive eyes. Your arms and legs may be long and
slim. You may be of sharp intellect and having strong grasping power, specifically the subject related to
science and technology may be comparatively easier for you to comprehend. You may also have excellent
communication skills; and likely to be quite enterprising in nature. You may have good control on your
reactions and emotions; and it wont be easy for others to exploit you on emotional grounds. You may like to
have intellectual challenges; and may always think of moving ahead. You may also have good farsightedness

You may also have inclination towards healthy debates; and, may be able to put forward unbeatable logic and
rational in your favor. You may also be a bit impatient and short tempered. You may have interest in brain

placed in your horoscope; and the lagna is devoid of any significant malefic influences.
Weak and afflicted disposition of Mercury may generate health issues, preferably related to skin, nervous
system, joints, lungs, and chest. There may be psychological issues and mind related problems too. You may
remain confused and disoriented; may lack interest towards your responsibilities; and may like to run away in
place of facing the challenges. Your relationships may also suffer significantly; and loss of inheritance is also
possible with weak and disturbed disposition of Mercury.
Mars and Ketu are usually trouble creators for Gemini Ascendant. The relationship of these planets with
Mercury and/or first house may cause you to suffer from physical pains, sufferings, legal disputes, police
action, troubled domestic life, financial crunches, fear of enemies, lack of support from parents and close
relationships, deranged mental state, and instability in your professional life too. You may be quick in picking
fights and may suffer from negative attitude.
However, if these planets (Mars and Ketu) are not united and separately placed in third, sixth, tenth or
eleventh house under auspicious planetary influences; there may be auspicious results, specifically related to
profession and finance. The strong and well placed Jupiter and Moon, in your vedic astrology birth chart, may
bless you with strong and virtuous life partner; and with full marital bliss.
Generally, Gemini ascendant people are less inclined towards absolute physical sports; and most often tend
to participate in indoor sports activities. Auspicious disposition of Moon, Venus and Saturn may also give
strong artistic inclination and success in fashion, entertainment, movies, dancing, singing, writing and related
professions. The union of Moon with Venus is often observed to be auspicious for financial gain, wealth and

The auspicious disposition of Mercury, Venus and Saturn may bless you with success in having independent
profession. Professional sectors related to banking, finance, education, entertainment, publication and media
are usually most suitable for you. A well placed and strong Sun may also bless you with authoritative posts
and political success. You may be more inclined towards skilled professions like being an entertainer or
teacher or fashion designer or stock analyst etc. against doing a routine job.
The best part of being born in Gemini Ascendant is being able to analyze things logically and rationally.
It may be comparatively easier for you to understand and decide the complex situations requiring functioning
of left side of brain. You may be able to have good harmony and balance between your emotional and social
relationships and may not get easily carried away in emotions. In addition to this, you may also be able to
communicate effectively and may have good presentations skills. You may also have an upper edge in
understanding the view point of other person and respond in accordance. You may be a very good assistant
and be able to give fruitful suggestions under dire circumstances.
The weak part of your personality and nature is remaining unsatisfied with yourself; and excessive
