This memo is to inform you that the POM+ Project is estimated to be complete on July 26, 2012. It will take 135 working days based on eight-hour days, with allowance for federal holidays. The critical path is: Needs Survey, Set Product Specs, Shelf Life Report, Secure Fruit Suppliers, Equipment Rehab, Production Trials, Quality Trials, Quality Metrics, Quality Training, and Prepare Product Launch. Selecting distributors had the most total slack. The network is very sensitive, the majority of the task are dependent on the task before it. The project start date, production trials, and project end are milestones. These project starts are associated with a group of tasks necessary to achieve the significant event. The project team can easily recognize the number of tasks that need to be completed to achieve the milestone. They are event markers. AS
