Advantages and Disadvantages of Accession of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Europian Union
The authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina have created a junk country from which young people gladly move to another countries. Regaining the trust in our coutry and its institutions is only possible if they show themselves as stable and efficiant. By its on act of Accessing EU we gain incentive stimulus with which we can change things and laws. We can apply for jobs anywhere in first worlds economy with potential market of almost 450 000 000 extremly highly paid people.

Our country obviously isn`t funkcioning for a long time now. We have a chaos in are judgment, education and health department, economy is very bad. Military practically doesn`t exist. It has been tehnologicaly overcomed and demoralised with everything that has happened in the last 20 years. Every year a large number of students graduates and their future and employment is uncertain. The citizens are unpleased, they have lost every trust in the goverment and they are mad and angry at everyone. They have lost their motivation. Value system is patological. In other words this is a country of sad and dissatisfied people. We have to stop that and I hope that everyone in this country realises that. Bosnia and Herzegovina looks like a ship without it`s helmsman. The ship that does not even know where it sails. And while our citizens are more and more dissatisfied someone who should be dealing with this problem is getting payed for doing nothing. Citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina have no more time for waiting a better and more normal life. The authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina have created a junk country from which young people gladly move to another countries. From the country that has been a Mekka for every immigrant from the third world coutries they made a Frankestein country that barely functions. Only with stability we can bring back the countrys reputation first of all in the eyes of our own people. As long as it is unstable we shall not live happily or should we respect it. Regaining the trust in our coutry and it`s institutions is only possible if they show them selfs as stable and efficiant. By it`s on act of accessing EU we gain incentive stimulus with which we can change things and laws, we get a direct instructions and guidelines to harmonize our system with theirs which are provenly working for at least 200 years. With that harmonization we get that even a Bosnian citizens enjoy high standards in EU. We can apply for jobs anywhere in first worlds economy with potential market of almost 450 000 000 extremly highly payed people. By accessing EU a lot will change to better which we can`t describe in this short text. Accessing EU shall not give us an instant results. We will not become richer over night. We have to achive that by our selfs which wont be an imposible misssion with a strong partner as EU. In any case we gain more then we lose. I hope that we shall not play smarter then the countries that are already in the EU. If so I hope it will be shorttermed and that we will have time for remorse because accessing EU is the only longterm solution for a little country as Bosnia and Herzegovina is. IN CONCLUSION: Advantages:
1. Freedom of people's movement - you can travel, live and work in any EU country without the restrictions. 2. Single market: there is no import/export taxes while trading between the member states. 3. Subsidies for farming, or on some occasions - for not farming. 4. Common rules for competition in the union enhance the economy, free trade and controls the creation of monopolies. 5. The creation of single currency increase a stability of countries. As we could see from the current crisis, the mechanism of helping countries in problem - slowly, but works.
Disadvantages:
1. The countries are loosing a part of their national identity. 2. The huge economical difference between old members and new member states (excluding southern countries) force the rich member states like Germany, to pay for the economical mistakes of other countries. 3. The process of legislation in EU is extremely complicated, slow and inflexible, as a result the EU parlament and Comission is usually late to solve urgen issues. 4. The institutions of EU aren't formed in a democratic way, as only the EU parliament is elected directly by the europeans. Nobody knows the accountability of Comission, ECB. 5. The weak strategy on foreign policy keeps EU away from important players in international arena, like China, USA and etc.
