Errors fixed:
* Title (leave season info to album field. Fix some characters (full-width numbe
rs, corrupt titles, hyphen vs. en-dash...)
* Album (use same name structure for different seasons -- sometimes even within
a season there was inconsistent album naming)
* Filename (Many were lacking the season, others had inconsistent nomenclature -
- even within the same season.
Numbering was off in some. Date was missing in a few. "jpod101" some
times was written with typos)
* Track (removed trailing zeroes, fixed numbering for some seasons that were lat
er split off from the season 1 of the corresponding levels)
* Filled missing fields in several files
* Many files were incorrecty dated Dec. 12 (12/12): They were fixed according to
the date on the site.
Only a few lessons were actually from that date (on different years):
- Absolute Beginner S1 L25 (2011)
- Beginner S1 L149 (2006)
- Upper Intermediate S2 L22 (2008)
- Advanced S1 L65 (2007)
* I could have automatically removed the intros and outros of the audio files,
with all their "visit japanese pod one-oh-one dot com" promotion, but alas, th
ey aren't the same length.
Tweaks:
* Converted dates into ISO format in filenames (MMDDYY/MDYY --> YYYY-MM-DD)
* Make filenames constant length:
- Use 3 letters for all season prefixes (see section "SEASONS" below)
- Use zero-padding in lesson numbers
- Include season # in all files
* Whenever possible, used the Lite PDFs rather than the main Lesson Note PDF.
This is because the Lite versions seem to be compatible with more PDF readers.
Some readers may not render the characters correctly, or at all, from the main
PDFs.
Google Chrome does, though, in case that problem arises.

Japanese Culture Classes:
- Lesson #47 is missing
- Lesson #49 doesn't have a PDF
- Lesson 50 has two MP3s. I numbered the files 50a and 50b
- Since the missing #47 compensates the double #50, I changed the track fields i
n the MP3 tags
of files 48, 49 and 50a to 47, 48 and 49, to keep the sequence uninterrupted.
- There were 4 Holiday specials (the filenames didn't have any reference to JCC
or to the numbering,
but they corresponded to lessons 34-37, and the numbering of the other files d
id skip those.)

- Newbie S1 is oddly numbered. There are 27 lessons, as advertised, but the numb
ering skips #6, #16 and #17, so the last file is numbered #30.
This happens both in the filenames and in the site menu/titles, but not on the
site's lesson list box
- Lessons 3, 4 and 5 had the date in the filenames switched compared to their se
quence and to the site info.
The dates were respectively 8, 15 and 1 of January, and had to be circular-shi
fted to 1, 8 and 15.
- Lesson 14 (the 13th file) doesn't have the Lite PDF.
- Newbie S4 has 25 lessons + FAQ + 25 lessons. Lessons 1-5 were numbered 41-45
(I would assume they meant N4.1, etc, but there were also N6-N13 -- excluding
N7, which had the form "NB_S4L7" like all the rest (14-50)

Beginner S1 originally had 195 lessons. The Beginner level (from part 2 of the A
udiobook) was inserted after L170, and Lessons 171-195 became the 25-lesson Begi
nner S3.
- Beginner S1L1 has the date of Dec. 19 in the URL and PDF, but Dec. 20 in the M
P3 (I changed the latter to 19)
- Beginner S3L16 has the date of Apr. 21 in the URL and PDF, but Apr. 22 in the
MP3 (I changed the latter to 21)
- Beginner S2L41 has the date of Sep. 11 in the URL, MP3 and main PDF, but Sep.
01 in the Lite PDF. I changed the latter to 11.
- The Lite PDF files for Beginner S4, lessons 1-5 were numbered 41-45.
The main PDF file for Beginner S4 L5 is prefixed N (newbie) and is also titled
"Newbie Lesson S4"!
Its content refers to the Beginner S4 L5 though.

- Lower Intermediate S1 is described in the site as a "59-lesson season" but the
re are only 55 lessons (numbering also goes from 1 to 55).
(Maybe the four Holiday Specials belong here?)
- Lower Intermediate S2 is described in the site as a "25-lesson season" but the
re are 26 lessons.
Also, it was originally part of season 1 as lessons 57-82. The main PDFs still
have the old numbering.
The Lite PDFs have the new numbering, except lessons 3 and 4. I renamed them a
ccordingly but the covers still feature the old numbers.
- Lower Intermediate S3 was originally part of season 1 as lessons 83-106.
All MP3s had the old numbering. Main PDFs 11-24 had the old numbering (93-106)
. Lite PDFs 16-24 had the old numbering (98-106).
Only Lite PDFs were kept. Those with old numbering were renamed but covers sti
ll feature old numbering.
- Lower Intermediate S5 Lesson 5 had the date Feb. 4 in the files (MP3/PDF), but
should be Mar. 2, according to the lesson URL.

- Intermediate #25 ("Interruption") is not part of the season's lessons and wasn
't numbered in sequence.
However, it is referred in the site as Lesson #25 and the numbering of the fil
es jumps from 24 to 26. So I numbered it correspondingly.
- Same happens for #31 ("iLove is Back!"), but this time it was numbered properl
y by jpod101 (with surrounding lessons jumping it, as above)
- Neither has a corresponding PDF file
- Intermediate lessons number 5, 6, 28, 30, 32, 33, 34, 36, 38, 40, 41, 43, 44,
45, 47, 49-73, 75-85
don't have the Lite version of the PDF.
- Intermediate #30's PDF has the number 28 in the cover
- The MP3s and URLs for Intermediate #74 and #75 say they're #76 and #77 (those
do exist separately and have correct numbering). I renamed the MP3s to use 74 an
d 75.
- The MP3, PDF and URL for Intermediate #79 say it's #78. The MP3 and PDF say it
's from 11/23 (the correct date for #78), but the url says 11/30.
Also, the PDF has 78 in the cover rather than 79. The proper PDF for #78 also
has (rightfully) 78 in the cover.
- The MP3 for Intermediate #81 says it's #83 and is from 12/28. The URL and PDF
say it's 81 and from 12-14. I changed the MP3 accordingly.

Upper Intermediate S1 lessons 9-25 don't have the Lite PDFs
Upper Intermediate S2 is described in the site as a "25-lesson season" but there
are only 24 lessons.
- Also, it was a continuation of Upper Intermediate S1, L26-L34 (S2's L1-L9)
- Lessons 5-8 don't have Lite PDFs. The main PDFs were included instead,
but they contain the wrong numbers in the covers (the title is correct though)
The dates for Upper Intermediate S5's MP3 and PDFs didn't match from lessons 1-6
.
PDFs were updated to MP3/site date. For future reference, their original dates
were (all in 2011):
1) 7/05; 2) 7/19; 3) 8/02; 4) 8/16; 5) 8/30; 6) 9/13

Advanced Audio Blog S1 is described as a 109-lesson season, but there are only 1
08 files: Lesson #60 is missing.
Also, Lesson #66 is "video vocabulary, sample lesson #1". Doesn't seem to be par
t of the series...
Advanced Audio Blog S4 had a monthly release cycle until L8. The dates in the fi
lenames (PDF and MP3) and URLs for L7 and L8 didn't match:
