LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION

It is my great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation in support of Swapnil

Sharma, my erstwhile student. I have known Swapnil for over 4 years now and can
undoubtedly say that he is one of the most bright and innovative students who has worked
under my guidance.
Being a senior lecturer in the department of Mechanical engineering, I had the opportunity
to interact with him while teaching subjects such as Mechanical Measurement Control &
CAD/CAM/CIM. He has always showed keen interest in the subjects. He always looked very
assured about the fundamentals of the subject. In him, I find the commitment of a good
student, with the right proportion of aptitude and determination which is evident from his
scores and the performance in the class. A remarkable feature that I find in Swapnil is that
he is very open to suggestions and advice while working in a team. All these qualities make
him a perfect candidate to pursue graduate studies with practical research exposure.

I had also been his class & project coordinator for final two years of engineering. His 3
rd
year
minor project on Design & Fabrication of Jib Crane Apparatus has been phenomenal. The
project was executed with much finesse & has been one of the best of the class. His
presentation skills and the ability to perfectly put his ideas forward have been noticeable.
His curiosity and ability to be deeply involved with his work makes him a prefect scholarly
individual. As a human being Swapnil showed courage, honesty and respect to all who ever
worked with him. He has the unique ability to charm everyone with his brilliance. Respect
and humility come naturally to him.

Apart from the academics, he has been participating in technical-fests which were organized
in our college and has demonstrated his technical and analytical qualities multiple times.
Swapnil has gained substantial work experience now & graduate studies will sharpen his
knowledge & skill set. Especially the research exposure offered by graduate program will
boost his practical learning. As his professor I highly recommend him to your university for
graduate studies and for research positions, given his qualities of hard work, in-depth
knowledge of the subjects and the practical experience, I am sure, and he has all the
requisites for your program. I wish him all the very best for his future endeavours.
