With a population of approx.

180 million, Pakistan is the 7

th
most populous nation in the world. A
developing economy with a large percentage of young people eager for education and better
opportunities, it serves an ideal country in South Asia for ECDL courses.
For now, Punjab which has almost 50% of Pakistans population would be our focus.
Awareness and a partner network can be created in the country through the following methods:
Private Institutes:
Private education is a big and growing business in Pakistan. Many such institutes want to partner with
international organizations in order to deliver high quality and recognized courses. Partnering with
private institutes in Pakistan such as SKANS, KIPS, Punjab Colleges, among many others can help us
promote our courses through well-established names in the industry who already have a Punjab
wide/nationwide network of colleges.
Government organizations:
Many government organizations are currently working to promote education and technical training in
order to knowledge base of Pakistanis; which can lead to better job opportunities.
Vocational Training Institutes and the Punjab Vocational Training Council can be good partners which
are government supported and can help us reach an audience of tens of thousands of eager students.
These Institutes are also promoted by the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) and the
Small and Medium Enterprise Development Authority (SMEDA). Both these organizations carry on year
round courses for businesses, their employees and the general population by partnering with other local
education institutes and delivering subsidized courses.
Non-Profit/Non-Government Organizations:
A large number of International and Local Non-Profit organizations are working in Pakistan to promote
education and eradicate poverty. These Include projects by the United Nations, USAID, UKAID, Germany
Agency for Technical Assistance, Pakistan Institute of Learning and Living among many others.
Many of these organizations run their own training institutes were ECDL courses can be taught. Apart
from this, courses can be funded by Non-government organizations and be delivered through the
network of our partner institutes in the Government and private sector

Awareness:
The internet and social media in particular, is extensively used by millions of Pakistanis every day. In
order to create awareness of our courses and facilitate our partner network, social media campaigns
and even a dedicated website for Pakistan can be launched.
With these campaigns we can cost effectively help to create awareness and interest in our courses and
communicate the benefits of an internationally recognized certificate.

These are just some of the methods through which we can create a strong network for partners in
Punjab, Pakistan. A highly detailed strategy can also be developed for this project.
