Highway Design Engineer Team Leader with Pragmatic Experience.

July 2007 to Present: Transportation Manager & Business Development, with LCR Inc.

Developed contacts with Chambers County officials to pursue work in high
growth industrial and seaport area east of Houston.
Won contracts to design and build road, drainage and pipeline infrastructure.
LISTEN to the customer and tailor designs that fit THEIR needs.
Petrochemicals, Pipelines safety, Wetlands, Flooding, Trucks, Trains, Barges
and Traffic growth drive design and construction choices. Seek input from
stakeholders, host workshops, brainstorm solutions, foster a teamwork buzz.
Visit the field and TALK to folks often; they feel like partners and help the job.
Fort Bend Co. High growth residential area west of Houston. Rebuild mature
urban streets: utility, ROW, cost and people issues. Patience is key.
I designed fancy bridges in new up market town. Worked closely with architects
and builders at every stage to ensure a quality product. I never point the finger at
others when things go awry. Work hard on the problem, easy on the people.
Attend functions with government and private clients. Offer impartial engineering
advice; politicians appreciate discrete warning of potential problems.
Work hard to gain confidence of all project stakeholders.

dont smoke. Get along readily with people and foster a happy cooperative team spirit. I
am NOT willing to relocate from the Houston area but 20% travel is OK.
