METHOD STATEMENT FOR INSTALLATION OF PEX PIPES & FITTINGS

FOR HOT & COLD WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM

1. SCOPE OF WORK
Installation to be carried out as per manufacturers instruction. All the PEX pipes & fittings to comply to DIN80! &
DIN8080 then test and commission to the satisfaction of the Engineers.
2. RESPONSIBILITY

(ater system. )efore commencement of installation$ the follo*ing *or+s are re,uired to be completed by the -ain
'ontractor.
/.0 -ar+ the bloc+ *all$ the location of PEX piping for chasing.
/./ (here re,uired$ to be pro#ided on the bloc+ *or+ in positions as mar+ed.
/.1 'hec+ pipe *or+ chasing is including red & blue conduits to be installed as indicated on appro#ed
construction dra*ings.
/.1 'hec+ materials to be used ha#e an appro#ed material submittal.
/.2 'hec+ *or+ area clean and safe.
3. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

1.0 All #ertical concealed hot & cold *ater supply pipes to indi#idual fi3tures units dropped from ceiling are
PEX pipes.
1./ After *all chasing by the main contractor install the female elbo* at the height suitable for each fi3ture
and concrete around it to secure in the *all at that location.
